The house looked and even smelled like brand new construction. It is very well maintained and well appointed as far as beds and baths and a good amount of gathering spaces. The kids loved the bunk room. There are alarms on all doors leading out to the pool which we appreciated with young kiddos. The location was great. Only a short golf cart ride to the Main Street of restaurants in town. Only drawback was having to move the outdoor furniture back outside because it had been moved indoors anticipating a storm before we arrived. And if you have little ones, the staircase is in the main hub of the living space so we just had to block it off with furniture. Loved that they had a pack n play on site but if you need a highchair, I would bring it. A small booster that doesn’t attach to the chair is all that is present. Overall amazing place and we plan to stay here again!

Excellent vacation home

This house is furnished beautifully and is amply stocked with all the necessities plus so much more. The views are amazing and there are de la and porches on both sides. Lovely!

Pink and Perfect

This was our second year staying at Shor-E-Nuf. It is a prime location with a full, unobstructed view of the bay and a 3 minute walk to the beach. This 4 bedroom loft configuration fits our extended family perfectly. It is an immaculate and well-appointed home with many conveniences and everything works as it should. The property is managed by Blue Herron realty and they are most helpful with booking and answering any questions you might have. We score a lot of points with all family members, especially the grandchildren by renting this vacation home. I might add that there is a very nice pool in the fenced backyard and all doors leading to it have alarms should a little person attempt to gain access without an adult.

Beautiful home with water views! The porches with rockers are great! Double dishwashers and washer & dryers are a great touch with large groups! We enjoyed the quiet of staying in Bay Creek this time around, and the private beach never had more than 3 families. Some parts of the beach had some seaweed but if you walked a little down to enter the water, it was great!! We used the beach access that wasn’t directly across the street. Property Managers were very responsive-had an issue with the freezer and they made it right. A couple little things I wish we had known- Beepers are on all the back doors for safety (which is understandable with younger children and pool area) -they were sensitive! Also, the camera at the pool area-we weren’t a fan of that. However, the pool area is great and we loved the screened in porch to escape the sun! Overall a great stay and would stay again!

Wonderful Easter Weekend in Cape Charles

My wife and I visited Charles over the Easter weekend 2025. We were doing some "advance research" to look for a house to host a larger family event scheduled for the summer 2026.Shore E Nuff is an absolutely beautiful property! The home's layout is terrific, the outdoor decks/porches with great views are amazing, and a large well equipped kitchen with and open plan layout connecting to main living space is great for bringing everyone together in one space.Being the off-season, the pool was of course not open but the pool area looks fantastic with its' features and layout.The beach area is a little "different" than what most traditional beach goers would expect. Not a great place to swim, but very scenic and great for a noce walk along the shoreline.The town of Cape Charles is just a short drive (perhaps a walk if you are ambitious or a bike ride), but the marina next door is just a five minute walk with a nice restaurant and bar.We had a great time and enjoyed the completely seamless check in process and felt very welcome!

Girls weekend

This was the most beautiful home and the location was perfect! We were able to golf cart to town and could walk across the street for the beach. The only inconvenience was the parking situation, which worked out fine but “overflow” parking was a lot farther away than we anticipated.

Shore E'Nuff is the perfect spot in Bay Creek!

This was our third time in Cape Charles and specifically staying in Bay Creek. We ALWAYS love our stay but Shore E'Nuff took our vacation to the next level. The house is gorgeous! Having a pool to come back to each day was fantastic and the bay views right across the street elevated everything about this trip! We will surely be back! Cape Charles and Bay Creek is a hidden gem in the Chesapeake Bay area!

Fantastic House!

I rented this house through VRBO with Blue Heron as the rental company for my wife and I along with our son, his wife and 2 grandchildren. The house was very clean and well maintained. The furnishings were perfect for the home, and the grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, especially after spending the day at the beach. The pool was a nice place to relax after getting back from the beach. The home is located close to the public beach and the town. Overall, it is a fantastic home, and we are planning to stay there again when we return to Cape Charles. The folks at Blue Heron, were very friendly and accommodating. They made the rental process as well as the check-in/check-out process extremely easy and glitch free. I will be using them again for our rental needs at Cape Charles.

Family Friendly

Gorgeous home! Wonderful time had by all!

This was the first of many family vacations to Cape Charles. The owners thought of everything when stocking the kitchen. I had packed beach towels and ended up not having to unpack them due plush beach towels were provided! The kids totally enjoyed the pool along with all the fun floats. They also had a blast playing with the games on the 3rd floor! There was 2 issues we wanted to let the owners know about. 1.) there was so many gnats in the house. They were everywhere! We tried to determine why there were so many, but never did find what was attracting them. 2.) Water would leak out of the shower when showering in the master bathroom and the 2nd floor guest bathroom. We tried to prevent, but ended up having to place multiple towels down to soak up the water. All in all, we had a great time and would highly recommended staying in this beautiful house!

Wonderful Getaway!

Perfect Stay in a Beautiful House

We had such a wonderful stay. This was our first time in Cape Charles and we now understand why everyone loves it so much. This house was perfect for our family and the layout worked really well. Everything is brand new and clean and the house is very well appointed. There wasn't anything that we needed that they didn't have. We loved our mornings on the beach and afternoons by the pool. Thanks for a lovely stay, we hope to be back soon!
