Beautiful location but services not available

Stayed for work, top floor suite. Well located across road from beach walking distance of restaurants/convenience store, clear view of bay with balcony for bkft. Place was clean, Bathroom could use an upgrade, the towels on the grey side and frayed, powerful air conditioning plus ceiling fan. This place has been well preserved from the hurricane To be noted: Located on narrow & steep hill, taxi couldn’t get through the entrance driver & helped to carry the luggage. No 24hr reception: you have to be lucky to catch the lady/host when she’s in. Stairs very steep (no lift), could thing there was help with the luggage. Safe didn’t work. There was no wifi connection upon arrival, I was told to wait until monday morning for management to come in. When you logged in, it would say “please top up because there was no data left”. Come monday, management was the person we had spoken to, who had to go into town to upgrade their plan to an “unlimited” one, that said the internet connection was unstable. Out of the 4 days I stayed, I lost 2 days of work due to this and had to look for places where to work, good thing “Grandma’s” place on the beach had good internet but wasn’t the best place to work quietly. There are no black-out curtains on the window on the side of the kitchen, a lot of light coming in. Fridge makes a lot of noise so together with the light in the main room it was difficult to fall asleep. Television broken and screen cracked.

Hay que esperar a que reconstruyan.

Desgraciadamente, el huracán Irma destrozó la isla y muchas de sus infraestructuras. Posiblemente ésta es la causa de las notas negativas pero, en general, estuvo todo correcto. Las playas están destrozadas, las casas son techo, palmeras rotas.

Overall we made the best of this stay. As others may or may not have mentioned, the place is a little dated. Some of the small appliances don’t work so great, and we cooked a bunch to keep costs down. Knives weren’t even sharp enough to cut myself, let alone bread. The lamp beside my bed was broken, as well the TV would not turn on with the provided remote. Want anything I wanted to complain about as I got by without them. The AC worked really well, so much so that I had to turn it off at night because it would blow directly in my face when lying on the bed. Be aware that if you’re renting a car, the ups and downs of the mountainous region are nothing compared to the steep climb up to the parking LOL. Now for what worked well. The outdoor sitting/bbq space was great. We were able to make some meals there. And while we didn’t use the pool, it looked nice and inviting. We were right in the thick of it. Everything was in walking distance. A beautiful beach right outside our place across the street, and all the restaurants you could ask for within a max 15 minute walk. There is also a convenience store located up the block. You won’t regret staying there, but if newer amenities and the big comfort of the big city are what you’re looking for, it may not be the place for you. It worked for us though for our week stay before heading to VG for a few more nights.

We found the villas to be charming and everything we needed. This is not a high end hotel but it is clean, and quaint and comfy. The balconies have wonderful views of the Tortola bay. I took way too many pictures! The hostess and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful if you have questions. It is a quick walk to the beach and many restaurants. Beds are cozy, WIFI works well. Showers are not the best - hot water runs out fast but that would be my only concern.

The location of this apartment is excellent! It is right cross from the beach and near lots of restaurants and bars. That said, the steep drive up to the parking area is not for the faint of heart. There is a small parking spot designated for the apartment right beside the building and it seems quite secure. Do not plan to cook in this kitchen. When we were there, March, 2026, the pots and pans were the typical scratches and worn non-stick that someone should have thrown out ages ago. The kitchen tap is funky. I threw out the moldy coffee in the filter of the coffee maker when we arrived and had to scrub some mold from the shower head. The bed is comfy with nice linens and pillows. We were there for four nights and got clean towels after two days. No other cleaning in the room though the cleaner did check in on us. The older plasma TV has cable? but no way to connect your phone, making it useless for us. It is less expensive for a reason. If these kind of issues bother you then this may not be for you.

The room property were very clean. The staff were helpful and nice. The property and room are charming. Fresh little flowers on the bed and table. You will not mistake this for a corporate hotel and that is a good thing! If you have mobility issues this is probably not the place for you as the drive up/walk is steep. We would stay there again.

Friendly and attentive staff. Cute pool/sitting area. Very clean room, wonderful balcony with view!! And a fresh foot rinse bowl on the doorstep every day. Only complaint is that the rooms are too light at night with the hall lighting coming through the window. Try adding curtains instead of blinds that don’t block light?

Host was nice and friendly. Location was great, steps to Cane Garden Bay. Restaurants nearby. Room was little dated. Shower head was so small. Very little water pressure. There was a kitchen but no table or chairs to sit. Can"t sit outside for dinner because of mosquitos at night.

We loved this property. It is conveniently located in Cane Garden Bay. The staff were very friendly and checked on us daily to make sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend staying here.

Very pleasant owner and well maintained property. Very close to beach and restaurants. Property is a bit dated and could use some renovations but it is a great value and greatly situated. Uphill climb may not be suitable for some people.

This unique property is the perfect place in Cane Garden Bay to enjoy some sanctuary while enjoying beautiful water views from the private balcony or from the pool balcony. The hotel is very well maintained and the cheerful staff are very attentive.

We stayed here for a couple of nights ahead of our sailboat charter. Cane Garden Bay is a great spot to chill on the beach, eat, drink and relax. The villas are nice, the pool was quiet and the hosts were attentive and very nice. Highly recommend. Also recommend Callwood Rum Distillery!
