"Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. "

"Lovely small cabin nestled on the side of the mountain with a small stream just out back. The hot tub was wonderful and the area was very peaceful and quiet. The bear carvings were really cool and it’s just a short trip to town when you need something. The showers are kinda small and the water pressure could be better. Overall a great weekend getaway spot. We will go again. LOVED IT"

"CastAway Cabin is a little slice of paradise! My husband and I spent a long weekend here and enjoyed every minute. The spotless cabin is cozy and comfortable and the scenery is amazing. Jack and Christy were amazing hosts. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the place. We are already trying to figure out a time to go back!"

"We absolutely loved this cabin! It was close to our son and family; they even came to visit one evening. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is! "Very nice property. Kitchen cooking facilities were great. We had more time to cook and break bread together. Pet Friendly, so we could take our dog. Nice outdoor fire pit. We had nice fires on those cool mornings. Grill ok, but we would recommend a real outdoor grill. We would also recommend some additional yard maintenance, removal of posion ivy.
