Old unit but functional

The views was the best part of our stay . But this unit was very outdated and had a bug issue and i mean ROACHES not flies or ants so i was moved to another unit and the room was just alittle better but had ROACHES also so i checked out early and went to another property to finish my stay. Wouldn't recommend the units i stayed in dont know about the others im pretty sure its a Roach infested building.

Come for the view! From the beginning, our host, Marien, was very communicative and provided a lot of helpful information. Rosie and Carmen from the property management were great and when I left my key in the transport, Carmen was quicky able to get me a key to get back in until our key could be returned.I had stayed at this complex before, so I knew what to expect as far as the age and condition of the building. It is an older building, but not in the way of an old, run-down hotel. However, if you're expecting something along the lines of a modern beachside condo or hotel, you might be disappointed. We were not. The complex itself is nicely laid out with a pretty courtyard. We enjoyed swimming in the sea and relaxing under the palapas before using the outdoor shower to take advantage of the wonderful pool. You can relax at the infinity edge and gaze at the beautiful Caribbean Sea just yards away. The unit is a bit dated but again, we knew that ahead of time so it wasn't a disappointment. The amenities provided, while we didn't use many, were a really nice touch: beach towels, DVD's, games and some beach toys, the "Oops, I forgot" toiletries. Kitchen drawers and cabinets were a bit unorganized but really contained everything we needed. Bed and bath linens were all really nice and I found the bed to be very comfortable. I slept great! Lastly, and the reason you come here is the VIEW - even while lying in bed! That in itself makes it worth it.

This was a great stay no complaints other than a pipe drips on the patio from top overhang ( a few floors up) from time to time. Host was great plenty of info before check in. Stayed for one week everyday was sunny and warm

Amazing from start to finish!

This was a last minute spring break getaway and it did not disappoint. The view is ocean front and was breathtaking. Marien was extremely responsive and helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. She anticipated our needs and provided recommendations to everything from restaurants, excursions, transportation, and more. Her place was clean, equipped with all of the essentials of home, and out of downtown so it was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing but close enough to enjoy the nightlife if we wanted. Thank you so much Marien we can’t wait for our next visit.

Our stay

It was a great stay, when we first got to the place Carmen walked us to our room and we started getting settled. A little later we had an issue with the ac in the unit but got with Carmen and it was fixed and had no more issues the rest of the trip with anything. It is very clean and quite a great view from the balcony. We don’t like all the loudness and partying we just wanna relax and do vacation. So the location to where we were was perfect and very easy access to the bus to get anywhere we needed down the strip. Great food and a great time there would definitely come back and book this room again.

Everything you need in one place!

We stayed a week in Marien's condo with my husband and 7 month old. It was the perfect location and set up for my little one. No need to bring a stroller as you're just steps from the pool, beach & restaurants. We just brought a baby carrier and that worked for us. Condo was organized and cleaned and the kitchen was equipped to cook in. I enjoyed interacting with the staff on site and Carmen was very helpful as well! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Marien for everything!

Perfect Anniversary Trip

This was the perfect place for us to unwind, relax, and recharge for our 25th anniversary. The condo is clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location is stunning. We made a circuit from watching the sunrise on the balcony, to relaxing at the infinity pool, to basking on the beautiful beach, and back to the balcony in the evening to watch the stars above and the sea turtles nesting below us. You're a short bus ride from the grocery store if you want to eat in, or walking distance or another short bus ride to all the restaurants your heart desires (we fell in love with the Galeon de Caribe and ate there 3 times). Overall excellent experience and look forward to coming back again!

Heureux séjour

Bonjour, Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le condo est très bien situé (directement sur la plage, a 20 minutes de l’aéroport, proche des commerces). L'endroit est très calme, nous dormions la porte patio entre ouverte. Le complexe est un peu vieillissant, mais très fonctionnel et propre. La piscine est très belle, et ensoleillée toute la journée. Le petit restaurant du complexe est très bon. Il y aussi un petit marché/dépanneur à même le complexe. Le condo est encore mieux équipé que la description de l’annonce. Il y a TOUT (jouets pour la plage, serviettes en grand nombre, séchoir a cheveux, savon (…). Le balcon est génial!!! Le condo est très sécuritaire, avec un poste de garde ou les gens doivent s’enregistrer a chaque arrivés / départs. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le service de la propriétaire, Marien, qui a été d’une grande aide. Elle répond précisément à tous les courriels, très rapidement. Carmen qui nous a accueillis était aussi très sympathique. (Thank you so much Marien). Conseils pour votre voyage - Booker absolument votre transfert de l’aéroport au condo avant votre départ. Sur place, les taxis sont hors de prix (200$ pour 3 personnes, aller-retour) - Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir réservé une voiture, les prix sont vraiment très intéressants, et c’est beaucoup plus simple pour visiter les Cenotes. - Tout dans la zone hôtelière est très chers, y compris les aliments en épicerie.

*** Emplacement incroyable!

Nous avons séjournez une semaine en avril 2024. L’emplacement du condo est exceptionnel étant donné qu’il donne directement sur la mer. Nous avons profité amplement du balcon au son des vagues et de l’envoûtement du bleu turquoise de la mer. Le condo est très bien équipé, nous y avons trouvé tout ce que nous avions de besoin, ils fournissent même l’eau potable. Sallle de bain très fonctionnelle et lits confortables. Que dire des commodités avec la piscine infinie, les palapas pour la plage, des chaises de plage du proprio, un dépanneur sur place ainsi qu’un restaurant. Propreté 4*. Nous prévoyons y retourner!

Pleasantly surprised, as soon as I stepped inside. Surpassed all expectations I had.

The view from the balcony offers a stunning display of the ocean's rich and vibrant colors. As the sunlight dances on the water's surface, shades of turquoise, cerulean, and azure come alive, creating a breathtaking palette. This condominium has many other notable features; including a fully stocked kitchen, and many games ranging from dice to chess and even Sorry. These amenities can enhance the experience for any and all ages. This property is not only blessed with stunning views of the ocean, but also offers an array of amenities to ensure a memorable stay. This property is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and entertaining. The kitchen boasts a wide range of utensils, allowing you to whip up culinary delights while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. And to top off all that, the owner is a grade A host that gladly invites questions anytime and instantly!!

This property was exactly described. The owners went above & beyond in not only creating a wonderfully useful guidebook, they also made sure it has everything a guest could possibly need. The room was comfortable and clean. We have zero negative things to say & should we come back to Cancun, we would definitely stay here again.

Pros: •location - safe, convenient, family oriented •host/host suggestions-booklet •on-site property manager/staff •pool •beach •restaurant/bar •comfortable bedding - slept amazing •has everything (appliances) you could need cons: •the overall Cancún Plaza property is dated and slightly run down if you look at building face •saw 3 roaches in the bathroom of rental •lots of skipped over/uncleaned areas around the room •furniture is a crowded/inefficient •no gym •a few tweaks to furniture placement + couple updates and this room would have 0 cons The cons did not kept us from having a great time, the pros outweighed the cons. Cancun is beautiful, the people are great. Marien is a great host and beyond helpful! Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise and knowledge! Cannot wait to visit again!

Amazing!

We had a fantastic time in Cancun. We enjoyed most all of the host's recommendations that she sent in her document and enjoyed every single one of them. You cannot beat this view! The hotel was perfect with lots of shaded seating by the pool and seconds to the beach. The condo was kept clean with everything you need there for you. I do wish there was a little more space to unload your luggage, as a family of four with two small kids staying for an entire week it was a little difficult staying organized. Luckily for me, I was unbothered because we were out and about mostly. Thanks for a great stay we hope to be back next summer!

Breathtaking View !

I had a short stay, I had such a great experience from the booking to the information given peor to my stay the owner was amazing on providing all details I needed for my stay. Carmen was great at checking me in and was very responsive when I had questions. This place is so cute, the kitchen is fully stocked, my family and I watched the beautiful sunrise while eating breakfast in the lovely patio. The restaurant downstairs had very great food and drinks and the pool was great just right in front of the ocean. Loved that this beach was not crowded at all we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Will definitely come back again. Thank you for everything

The best view

We stayed in Marien’s unit from January 8 to February 2, 2023. 3 words! WE LOVED IT! Already booked again for next year. There are so many good things to say and its hard to add to what Marien has already posted on this site but this is my part. First of all, Marien replies within a few minutes. Carmen who is the property Manager, is also very quick to respond and will do all she can to solve any problems you may have. That is very important to us. The location A+, the condo A+ (please note, it may be a studio but its a good size and the balcony (Oh! The Balcony!!!) is used like an additional room in the unit. We spent time on the balcony for coffee, afternoon drink, supper and after dark to watch the cruise ships and the stars! The hotel restaurant is good and convenient (good pizza), beach amazing, pool is fantastic. Always chairs available. I could go on and on. This is an older building but well maintained, safe, quiet. The condo has all the amenities you can think of, the beds are comfortable. Bus service at the door to take you to shopping, ferry to Isla Mujeres + All I can say is we are looking forward to our next visit in 2024.

Great Property for Rest & Relaxation!!!

The beach was so close.

Beautiful Blue Water

The Condo had an amazing view of the turquoise water from the balcony. The first morning we saw turtle tracks in the sand where the turtles came to shore and laid their eggs. It was only a short walk to the beautiful infinity pool and the beach. Marien provided LOTS of information and answered ALL the questions we had. Easy to get around with buses right outside the property for $1 you can go most places. On-site store was so convenient. There was a great restaurant Km19.5 across the street. We ate breakfast there almost every morning. Recommend taking the bus to the ferry and visiting Isla Mujeres for a day. Rent a golf cart and be sure to drive to Punta Sur. This was our first Cancun vacation, and we can't wait to go back!
