"El hotel es precioso situado en un lugar tranquilo con Spa. Las habitaciones están muy bien y la cama es súper cómoda. Lo único que no me gustó eran las almohadas. The only thing I did not like were the pillows., they were lumpy. Breakfast was excellent. We definitely recommend staying at brandshatch!!!"

"Hotel didn’t look anything like the photos shown!! 1st room was greeted in the bed with ants! To be told at reception they would “upgrade” me!! Upgraded room was no better! Shower seal was green! Splats all over the carpet! Everything about it was awful!! "

Al final pagando 7 GBP me llevaron algo para desayunar al día siguiente, pero ni siquiera me pusieron cubiertos para poder untarme la mantequilla. El armario no tenía ni una percha y la balda para dejar la ropa no la han limpiado nunca. "

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep."
