Lindo hotel cerca de la playa.
El mejor lugar donde descansar y relajarse. Excelentes habitaciones con cocina, mucha privacidad (lejos de otras habitaciones), excelente atención. Definitivamente un lindo hotel para visitar el Caribe costarricense.

La Finca Chica es un sitio muy acogedor. Tanto el propietario como la persona encargada del mantenimiento de la finca, Aurealiano, están muy pendientes de que todo esté correcto. Ademas, el propietario, Emilio, te ayuda con contactos de la zona que son de su confianza para que tengas el viaje más seguro posible, lo cual es de agradecer. Solo eché en falta un secador para el pelo.

Hotel tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza
Las casitas que hay en este hotel son muy acogedoras, rodeadas de naturaleza y cerca de Puerto Viejo.

Cabaña pequeña separada del resto
La cabaña que alquilamos era la más pequeña que si bien era suficiente para nosotros estaba separada del resto del complejo, no se podían disfrutar los jardines, realmente creemos que deberían explicarlo con anterioridad. La cocina estaba desprolija.

Agradable estancia para un descanso
Nos hospedamos en la casa 2, súper cómoda y limpia, todo en perfecto estado. Parqueo privado y seguro. cerca de cocles. El trato fue agradable y además una estadía cómoda con respecto a lo monetario. 100% recomendado para parejas. El wifi no tenía mucha cobertura, por lo que sí costaba conectarse. Los alrededores de las casas están llenos de vegetación y hay privacidad entre las demás casas.

What an amazing experience to live in the garden jungle surrounded by nature and wild animals. We saw and heard so many animals during the day and at night. Super kind owners (also lives on the property) and staff. Free walking around with the gardener in the garden to see lots of animals. Supermarkets and restaurants in Waking distance. Car/bikes required. Very well equipped kitchen, free laundry service and cleaning. Highly recommended!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous bungalow. Everything you dream of when staying in Costa Rica. Property had everything you could need, was set in beautiful gardens and very private. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful private apartment bungalow
We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed it very much - very relaxing days well spent. It was super comfortable, private, clean and had a beautiful garden right around you. Everyone was helpful and very nice! For us it was perfectly located in Cocles, with a supermarket right at the main street, beaches and activities in walking (or biking) distance.

Stunning house within tropical garden near beach
We stayed at the “Beach House” which was an absolutely stunning house and just a short walk to a beautiful little beach at Playa Chiquita. You can also walk to Punta Uva along the coast which is one of the best beaches in Puerto Viejo. Jenny was friendly, helpful and always with a smile and was always available if we needed anything. The house itself is beautiful and it felt very special to stay here with stunning grounds and amazing wildlife. There was a cleaner who came each day and left the entire house spotless.

Loved It!
We loved our stay at La Finca Chica! The host and his family made us feel right at home and very helpful with questions. The house is in the rain forest and has private access to the beach just a short stroll away. We seen so many beautiful birds, animals and critters. This place is perfect for a family with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You should stay here to get the full Costa Rican vibe!

Rumble in the jungle
Nice 2 day stay t the Caribbean coast. A nice wooden finca in the middle of a private jungle-like garden with lots of wildlife. A nice bungalow with a big open space, two smaller sleeping rooms with small queen size beds, shared bathroom and a self-service kitchen (where we only used the fridge). We ate out - both days we went to the French baker close to the residence for breakfast. Be prepared for windows without glass - but you can close the shutters if that gives you some more comfort during the noisy night (thanks to the howler monkeys and other animals) Plesantly surprised to see that we didn’t meet many mosquitos. It was beginning of rain season when we were there, and were not prepared for the high humidity that made drying (bathing)clothes and towels a difficult process. All in all - a nice and private stay close to the jungle (I even saw a keelbilled toucan one early morning).

So friendly and perfect
So friendly owners, you realt feel welcome. Close to the beach, just a fel minuters walk. Clean house with your own little private garden. We can hardly recommend La Finca Chica for you who wants to relax and have close to beach, supermarket, nature and restaurant. Yo I come back I will stay at La Finca Chica!

This property is incredible, and the photos do not do it justice. Very comfortable inside and out, with plenty of private outdoor covered space to relax. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Caribbean coast experience.

Our family of four had a wonderful experience at ‘The Beach House’ location. It was just steps away from the beach and provided all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed the jungle/rainforest feel with the sound of many birds and even howler monkeys every morning. The property also provides much privacy. We felt like locals with our own home. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends.

Absolutely lovely!
We had the house in the jungle that was 100 meters to the beach. We saw a sloth in the front yard and loads of birds and butterflies. Sat in the rocking chairs on the porch for hours just enjoying the beautiful garden. Very comfortable house with everything you need. Emilio was very friendly host.

Cabins near the beach
We stayed in the small cabin, but as there were two of us it was a great size. The cabin is shady in the afternoon to keep you out of the heat but the downside is the mozzies; the joy of open air living. The local beach is nice and only a five min walk away but there are nicer beaches a short cycle or drive away. The kitchen was great for breakfast but it would be good if they included some basics like cooking oil. Our hosts gave us some great information about snorkling hire and local reefs, refaurants and shady beaches and is generally on hand for any questions.

We stayed for 2 nights at the "beach house". Very comfortable and great place to relax. If you want a jungle experience, this is the place to come.

The area was fantastic if your are renting a car. Definitely use the bug net. The only complaint I have was that shower faucet had electric shocks when we would shower

Amazing jungle cabins.
Cabins at Finca Chica were beautiful and functional. Wonderful to be in the jungle setting with the birds and animals. Fresh air and quiet. Housekeeping was good - they did our dishes every day. Owners were very nice and helpful. Great location. Short drive to Puerto Viejo, Punta Uva, manzanillo, Cahuita.

Amazing hotel in the jungle!
As long as you don't mind the spooky sounds of the jungle in the morning this is the place to be - you get a huge cabin (we got upgraded on the second day but the original was big as well). Really are in the middle of nature but with the comforts of home such as a fan, good kitchen/bathroom facilities and even sky TV! Best hotel ive ever stayed in and ive been to a lot.

Nice villas
We booked a 1 room villa but was upgraded to the delux villa due to construction issues. The villas are nice but only offer a fan for cooling. There is netting over the bed if you want to open the windows but that seemed more trouble than it was worth. Over all good stay

These are such cute cabins. We loved the open air concept. Very clean and well decorated. You can rent bikes onsite and bike to everything in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Romantisches Dschungelfeeling
Wir haben 2 Nächte im la Finca Chica verbracht und wären länger geblieben, wenn wir die nächsten Nächte nicht bereits gebucht gehabt hätten. Allein der Aufenthalt im la Finca Chica Bungalow war sein Erlebnis wert. All die Tiergeräusche und entspannte Umgebung waren herrlich. Das karibische Flair der kleinen Ortschaften entlang der Küste ist entspannt und die Bademöglichkeiten im Meer sind sehr schön.

Walking distance to the beach
We rented beach cruisers and got around town that way. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk from the house. Which was important to us. House was great, feels like you're alone on the property. It was great to listen to the nature with insects and wildlife at night

Schönes Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung.
Schönes Haus am für mich schönsten Strand der Karibikseite. Super Internet. Tolle Besitzer. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben die Terrasse geliebt. Kleine Kritik: hier und da könnte mal wieder ein wenig Farbe an die Wände.

Most Beautiful Lodge in the rainforest
The most beautiful lodge in the rainforest I have ever seen. The Owners were wonderful Hosts and we had such a great time at La Finca Chica. We can highly recommend it for People who are looking for a quite and relaxed place right in the nature. We would come back at any time if we would be in Costa Rica again.
