Billed as having majestic sea views and it absolutely does! Spent such a relaxing week here in spacious and comfortable surroundings. Loved every minute. Thanks to Josephine for facilitating and for offering a dog-friendly setting.

The location of the property can’t be bettered. Stunning views and almost complete privacy. Some of the amenities in the area are closed at present but it’s a good base for exploring. The property needs a little bit of a face lift but is very spacious.

... und ein sehr geräumiges Haus machten uns die Woche am Ring of Kerry sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist der Hit und wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen. Das große Schlafzimmer ist sehr schön, das Bett sehr bequem (und nicht so weich wie die anderen Betten, die ich für meinen Geschmack nicht so gern genommen hätte). Ein Traum, morgens wach zu werden und den Blick aufs Meer zu haben. Das Haus ist sehr hell und sauber, die Küche recht spartanisch eingerichtet und ausgestattet , aber voll ausreichend für einen Urlaub. Es gab ein kleines technisches Problem mit dem Ofen und Herd, aber Josephine hat sich umgehend gekümmert und eine sehr faire Lösung gefunden. Sie kam sogar noch persönlich vorbei, was eine sehr angenehme Begegnung war. Die Lage ist perfekt, um von hier aus den Ring of Kerry in Tagesausflügen zu erkunden. Von der Straße hört man fast nichts und der Blick ist wie gesagt unbezahlbar. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten sogar abwechselnd in den vorhandenen Liegestuhl auf der Terrasse lesen. Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem die Umgebung entdecken möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Danke an Josephine für die Unterstützung vor Ort. Wir kommen bestimmt zurück. PS. Ich träume noch immer vom weltbesten Chowder, den wir in Blind Piper gegessen haben. Tolle Kneipe, unbedingt hingehen.

Ruhige Lage mit traumhaften Blick. Für 4-Sterne hätten wir eine bessere Ausstattung erwartet (Küche sehr Basic, Dunstabzugshaube defekt, Backofen nicht voll funktionstüchtig, keinerlei Gewürze oä.) Es gibt leider keinen Whirlpool/ Hottub ( wie in Anzeige angegeben). Wasserdruck recht niedrig. Insgesamt eher rustikale Ausstattung. Nach der Reservierung erfährt man, dass Strom und Heizöl zusätzlich nach Verbrauch abgerechnet werden.

The views from this house are just breathtaking and the location is excellent. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Josephine is a lovely and welcoming host. We will most definitely be back.

Unfassbar tolle Lage, grosszügig geschnittene Räume und ein warmer freundlicher persönlicher Empfang. Man muss nur für die gute LAUNE selbst Sorge tragen.Wenn's damit schwierig ist, gehe man einfach in das urtypische origan-irische Pub in Caherdaniel (ca. 20 Gehminuten entfernt):Dann klappt auch das vielleicht schon viel leichter....

We recently stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We made many day trips and thought it was a great location. Don’t miss Staigue Fort. The house was clean and has everything you need, kitchen, comfy beds, laundry etc. We highly recommend eating at O’ Carroll’s. There is also a nice little mini-market close by for day to day groceries. The Blind Piper is sorta walking distance and has great food and drink, but maybe not walk it at night, only because of the narrow road. Freddie’s is closed.

Die Wohnung befindet sich an einem ruhigen Ort und war in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. Sie verfügt über die notwendige Einrichtung. Einzig Liegestühle haben gefehlt. Wir hatten das Glück, bei sehr schönem Wetter in Irland zu sein und wären deshalb manchmal gerne vor dem Haus auf Liegestühle gelegen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir halten unseren Aufenthalt in guter Erinnerung.

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days recently. The cottage was lovely and Josephine was great to deal with. The banana bread she made for us was beautiful! The cottage had everything we needed and was lovely and warm once the heating was on for a while. The view from the table out the front is nothing short of spectacular. As is the whole ring of kerry. Photos really don't do the area justice. Well worth a stay here 😊 Just be prepared for a very long drive if you need a big supermarket!

Vielen Dank Josephine, es wird für mich ein unvergesslicher Urlaub bleiben. Alles hat super gepasst. Die Höhe des Bettes, die Höhe der Toilette und der Duschstuhl - unterfahrbare Spüle. Absolut Rollstuhl geeignete Unterkunft. Und dazu noch mit einem umwerfenden Ausblick. und direkt am Ring of Kerry gelegen. Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer und eine sehr nette Vermieterin.

We enjoy the house and the views. It's close to the pubs by the cove (5 minute walk) and Caherdaniel (5 minute drive). Would recommend chairs to sit outside other than the picnic table. Only negative comment was the Heating only smell and paying for the electricity. Cost of the stay should have cover the 12 euros that we spent.

The house is well laid out and has everything that a family would need for a holiday. The description and the photos are correct. Everything worked properly. A couple of the matresses were moving towards the end of their useful life, but there were no problems. My 92 year old mother was with us and, despite her infirmities, was able to enjoy her holiday thanks to the handicap facilities. Lots of laughs, games and Relaxation. Josephine was a gracious hostess and her home baking tastes wonderful. We all returned well relaxed and would have no hesitation in booking the house again.
