Nestling in the Nantlle valley
A neat and compact facility with all amenities. Everything worked as advertised; the bed was comfortable and the WiFi excellent. It is brilliantly located, as it has easy access to the much improved A487 which gives fast north-south transits (Porthmadog - Caernarfon), whilst in the other direction there is easy access to Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert and Snowdon. It is also well placed for anyone wanting to explore the quarries of Nantlle and Moel Tryfan.

Very relaxing
Lovely property, well appointed and in a gorgeous location. Near fields with little lambs calling their mums. Really lovely house as well. The owner Clare was lovely and really helpful. Great property for someone staying on their own. Good directions with W3W so easy to find, easy to park. I definitely would recommend.

Kleines, gemütliches Cottage
Gemütliches, kleines Cottage. Besteht aus zwei Wohneinheiten, ich habe meinen Nachbarn jedoch kaum bemerkt. Im Erdgeschoss ein Raum mit kleiner, ausreichende ausgestatteter Küche, Couch, TV und Elektro Kamin für gemütliche Atmosphäre. In der Küche wartet Tee, Kaffee und Milch. Zusätzlich ist dort ein kleines Bad mit guter, heißer Dusche. Alles super sauber! Im oberen Stock das Schlafzimmer mit einem herrlich gemütlichen Bett. Ich habe lange nicht so gut geschlafen. Völlige Ruhe, außer ein paar Lämmchen auf dem benachbarten Feld. Claire hat mich sehr freundlich und liebenswert empfangen und war sehr hilfreich. Gerne gab sie mir Tips über die Umgebung und die Vergangenheit der Schieferminen. Sehr guter Ausgangsort für Wanderungen in Snowdonia. Vielen Dank für eine wundervolle Woche in North Wales.

Great place to discover Snowden and surrounding areas.
A compact dwelling with every amenity provided. You dont need to pack anything other than food and clothes!!! Claire was the perfect host. Available when needed but let us enjoy the house and area. Would definitely recommend it. Especcially if you only want to hear silence at night apart from the occasional bleating of the sheep!!!

Excellent all round Holiday
This property was just perfect. Very clean and everything you need for your holiday. Owner was very friendly even put milk in the fridge ready for us. Would recommend this property in a perfect location.

The perfect place to explore Snowdonia.
The perfect place to explore Snowdonia. The only problem was a very cramped shower and an uncomfortable double sofa... When you come back from a long, exhausting walk, you only dream about taking a shower and finally having a comfortable rest.

We're very pleased you enjoyed your stay, especially the tranquillity and the beautiful scenery. We're sorry to hear you were unhappy with the shower and sofa. The shower is a standard size and the sofa is being replaced in July.

Lovely accommodation and close to the national park
The cottage was perfect for us, it was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Clare was lovely and very helpful, and recommended where to go. The cottage is so close to the national park, only 14 mins drive to the Rhyd Ddu path up snowdon. There is also old quarry’s very close by which we’re beautiful to walk round. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely come back again I Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

For the two of us the accommodations and location was ideal
The unit was cozy with all of the amenities that we needed for our stay in Wales. We have friends in the area, so this was ideal for us to jump into the car and dive over for a visit. Our host was very helpful, and accommodating. We were very happy overall with our stay. We would happily stay again. Take care,

Perfect for a couple who'll spend every day out and about
The building as shown is two separate accommodations so half the building is yours. It's more than adequate for the couple who will spend all day out and about and there's enough comfort to make evenings in pleasant and enjoyable. This, set in a lovely location with the coast, the mountains and the abandoned slate mines all so close make this a very interesting and almost ideal booking.

A little piece & quiet
Clare & John are the most wonderful hosts. The location (whilst quiet & out of the way) is amazing. Clean, comfortable and all you need for time away home from home. We could not fault the accomodation, even tea/coffee & milk on our arrival. Whilst out of the way, it's so central to visit the best of North Wales has to offer & boy, it does it in droves, and probably a little bit more! My only advice is you do need a car. We will most definitely will be back. Thank you Clare & John (and Lee, in the garage).

Solo get away
The property was ideal for myself, as a single traveller. However, the cottage shown with one door, is actually 2 rental properties. It was clean and tidy though did seem a little fusty, most likely as not been used recently. I would have liked a cereal bowl, rather than have to eat cereal from a shallow soup dish. There was no formal check in/little contact with the owner, who lives right next to the property. I peaceful setting, and ideal for my purposes. The bed was very comfortable.

Budget cottage
All in all had a lovely stay in Wales, cottage needs updating, sofa very uncomfortable and old. TV very small and remote barely works. Cleanliness not great, moved sofa to hoover and found a pair of socks, used tissue and dirt, lots of cobwebs and bathroom smell was overpowering. We ended up buying bleach and toilet rim blocks. Internet needs upgrading as signal weak and lost it completely for last 2 days. Spoke to Claire who seemed surprised yet reviews would say this is a regular thing. We left some leaflets on things to do in the area as there were none there. Could also do with an iron and ironing board. That said the area is beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable, shower very good and has what you need. Compared to lots of places in the area this is very cheap so can't expect luxury. A few small tweaks and this would be somewhere I would revisit.

Thank you for letting us know there was an issue with the internet booster. Nothing was said until the Friday evening. The following morning, we re-paired the booster with the modem and are pleased to say the internet was soon working again for our next guests. For the wi-fi booster to require re-pairing is something which has never happened before, so it was a bit of a surprise. We apologise for not being able to remedy this on the Friday evening, but our priority was to take our son to a medical appointment and it was late when we got back. We always clean the sofa between bookings and have a routine cleaning programme for a spring clean, this is when the furniture is moved. We take cleaning seriously, especially during the current times.

Need a revamp but nice owners and in a brilliant area so much to do if you like hiking walking there’s not far to go has there’s loads locally take a look at the old slate minds behind the property well worth a look I spent 5 hours exploring

It was smaller than I thought from the photos but well equipped. Nice location near the mountains on a quietish road, except when traffic was zooming past at 60mph!! The owners were lovely and helpful.

Great but a few problems
Shower room sink taps hard to operate for my wife ( she has arthritis), the hot water in the kitchen sink and shower room basin intermittent. internet really bad to the point of no use, rear yard area could of been better utilised

Absolutely perfect property
Lovely peaceful property with all the facilities I needed. Very clean, beautiful surroundings, very friendly hosts and a very good location for all my sight seeing/activities. Nice touches like milk, tea and coffee, soaps and plenty of towels. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great loocation
Great location for us to travel to Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llandudno. Cottage was really comfortable, Clare was very helpful. Only suggestion is to add wine and beer glasses in the kitchen. A small point, overall a very enjoyable experience.

Tout le nécessaire était présent ( sauf des verres à vin 😄!)
Bien localisé , à proximité du parc Naturel de Snowdonia. Proprios très gentils . Un bémol , pas d’environnement extérieur immédiat pour flâner , dîner ou lire dehors ( on a dressé nos propres sièges de jardin dans la cour pour prendre l’apéro si soleil couchant )
