We found the front desk staff exceptionally friendly even in the midst of dealing with a lot of requests as there was a winter storm.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cadillac by IHG
We had two rooms, between them I think one key card worked about twice; none of the others ever worked. But the beds were comfortable, the location was convenient, and breakfast was good.

Sunrise Shores cottage on the beautiful Lake Mitchell
