Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. "This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. "Beautiful, quiet inn. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday after the holidyas, so it was especially quiet, just what we wanted. Staff was incredibly attentive and engaging, rooms were unique and comfortable. I highly recommend The Jackson. We will be returning in the spring to see the grounds!"
