"First impression was CLEAN. The rooms were well appointed with two side night tables/lamps and large closet with hangers. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets and a cooling comforter - a variety of pillows and extra blankets were available. The kitchen has everything guests need to cook in or out (each cottage has its own BBQ and cleaning tools.) The living area is comfortable with TV. Picnic table out back by BBQ. "The most wonderful place for our family. The weather was cool On Sunday when we arrived but each day got warmer. Every sunset was different and we enjoyed each one down at Lake Michigan. I was up most mornings at 6:45 to enjoy each sunrise. As the week went forward all joined me the last morning to watch the beautiful sunrise! "The place was perfect! Very clean and organized, comfortable sleeping arrangements and extremely easy and convenient check-in.It was the perfect location for us too. We drove downtown to enjoy the shops, but then also had the quiet and cozy backyard to enjoy in the morning.Definitely plan to stay here next time "

The kids had so much fun in the lake and it was a great view to enjoy every day.Everything we needed was provided which was the cherry on top. We were traveling from the East Coast - last thing we needed was to travel with linens or other necessities. "

"This is a beautiful, peaceful location. A quick drive into town if you want to eat out, but a great escape if you're seeking tranquility. The view of the wetlands and the wildlife were our favorite things about it. The beds are great, and with all the windows open in the 2nd bedroom, it's almost like sleeping outdoors. Our only complaint was the overpowering liquid "air freshener" pod placed in the cottage. Unnecessary, and as someone sensitive to perfumes, this was almost gag-inducing. We...

"We stayed with family for our sons wedding which was at the riverbird event center.only a 15 min drive away And very pet friendly which was great for the dog. House is very well stocked! Would stay there again!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was nice and cozy. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the stairway is steep and a little scary going downstairs wirh anything in your hands. Overall, we had a great stay, ans would definitely stay again. "

"Beautiful views of the landscape and lake! Very private and peaceful. The home is spacious and comfortable. "

"What a charming place! It’s hidden in the woods on the edge of the sand dunes. Beautiful light filters through the trees and bathes the cabin in just the right ambience to feel a world away. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed (minus the coffee) :). Plenty of room to spread out with 5 of us staying. It was close to restaurants and other attractions (the Dune Rides are worth the small admission price). The place was so lovely that we hope to stay again when we are in Saugatuk!"

"Really charming cabin. Great getaway location. The walk to the beach is intense on the way back up the sand dune but it’s worth it. Close to both Saugatuck and Holland shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our days staying here. "
