The house was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and equipped to a high standard with everything we needed. The hosts, Deirdre & John, were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location of the property was amazing. In every way a perfect place to relax or to use as a base for exploring the area.

We had a wonderful time at Oceans End! Our hosts Deidre and John were so welcoming and kind. Growing up on farms it was so very nice to enjoy the cows and the quiet of it all.

Our stay was perfect. The pictures on the app along with the narrative were spot on. We enjoyed the view and quiet environment and watching the cows come in for milking and go back out. John was a good instructor for milking cows and was a lot of fun. I will recommend this spot to my friends or anyone else looking for this kind of stay.

Superb high quality accommodation, with lots of extra additional touches. The welcome pack with fresh milk, butter, soda bread and lots of other little bits was fab! I can’t fault anything about Oceans End plus our host was really lovely and so helpful. This part of Ireland is beautiful, lots of lovely beaches and towns, well worth the visit.

This property has everything you will ever need for a comfortable and relaxed holiday in a stunning location in Ireland. It is obvious a lot of thought and care has gone into ensuring that everything is catered for at such a high spec and cleanliness. Deidre and John are so friendly and helped make our holiday one to remember. Such a fantastic place to holiday in a remote and quiet setting but have all the comforts and enable you to explore the area.Thank you.

This has been our favorite VrBo hands down! From the moment you walked in with the smells, then the kitchen with eggs from their farm, fresh baked cookies and bread with homemade jelly! Also had fresh milk from the cows that morning! The icing on the cake was having John the husband taking the time to show the boys how to milk the cows! Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Seclusion with plenty to do close by

John & Deirdre are great host's. The property is clean and comfortable in a setting that is hard to beat. The place is sitting on an active Dairy Farm and John is happy to give you a lesson in Dairy Farming. Everyone in our party was very happy with our stay.

Absolutely serene - Perfect stay!

The cottage was amazing and the hosts were extremely hospitable! Everything was super clean and exactly how pictures described. It was very comfortable and had everything you need. The countryside where cottage is located has beautiful scenery and it truly was a small piece of heaven.

Absolutely perfect

We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs all over the world and this was by far the best. From fresh milk from the cows and home baked brown bread to miles of fields to walk and ocean views to comfy beds and perfectly stocked kitchen, this place was so wonderful. Teddy the sheep (er cow) dog was an added bonus. Just in general I can’t say anything bad. It’s also really out in the country so you feel surrounded by quiet and peace.

Incredible stay!

We loved our time in this beautiful house. So well equipped and very comfortable, the hosts have thought of everything! Incredible location and we loved the chance to visit the cows and help with the milking one evening. Thanks so much for having us, we will be back in the future for sure!

What a fabulous cottage - amazing location with stunning views. So relaxing. Cottage was immaculate and very well stocked with everything you could need for a holiday. Absolutely five stars in every area - great location near beautiful beaches and Kinsale / Clonakilty for eating out / shopping

what a fun stay! A great "base of operations" for us as we explored southwestern Ireland. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Gorgeous ocean view. Nearby farm was a big hit with my daughter too!

Ocean's End

Our family had a wonderfully relaxing week here in Deidre and John's cottage. The accommodation was immaculate and there was nothing that we wanted for. Ireland was at its best and we can't thank our hosts enough for their warm welcome. It was perfect for all our needs.

Beautiful oasis

We had a wonderful time at Oceans End! The family time was fantastic and the house was beautiful! Our host Deidre was very hospitable and attentive. The views of the water and countryside were stunning! We definitely want to return!

Great house in a rural setting

Beautifully designed , aesthetically appointed, well thought out house at the end of a country road. Our hosts were welcoming - home made bread, jam and milk from their dairy.

Owners go above and beyond!

The best cottage to stay at with owners that care about you and your happiness! My first night there, the airline lost my luggage and the owner took it upon herself to go get it at the airport once it arrived! The cottage is clean, welcoming, and cozy with the most beautiful setting.

This couldn’t have been a more perfect place to stay. From all the little details in the property to the wonderful baked goods and fresh milk to the beautiful scenery, and the fun we had milking cows. Idyllic peaceful setting

Absolutely stunning house and location. We loved all of the decor and finishing touches. Beds and bedding were super comfortable!
