"Staff and rooms were nice. There is a rooftop with a bar and restaurant. Indian food was the better option. Breakfast on the rooftop is very pleasant. Rooms in the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy since the room faces the street. Overall, nice place to stay. "

Enjoy the delights of a pool, soon to be ready gym, decent bar undecisive between reliving the 40's and honouring the today's and of course the excellent cook; truly deserving the title Chef. The mattress may be a bit hard for your liking, however, the night's sleep is guaranteed mosquito free thanks to the good mosquito nets around the bed. "The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, with good linen. There was plentiful hot water. The staff were all very friendly and De Rain, the owner was often around and very helpful booking trips. It had a very good kitchen. It is next to a busy road but I couldn’t hear it in my room and it didn’t affect my stay. It was so lovely being on the banks of Lake Victoria. "

"There are apparently 'executive suites' which my wife viewed and thought were beautiful. There are also those that are less expensive and not executive. We stayed for four nights in the less expensive one. At first there were a few things that we had hoped to see but were not in the room however the management and staff (Henry in particular) did everything possible to make our stay better and provide the room with some things that were lacking.
