Cute little cabin

Had more amenities available than I am used to in a VRBO. Highly appreciated as there are no stores close. Family and I all enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area

PERFECT

Cozy Cabin is a sweet and lovely property and the host is quick to respond. The neighborhood is lovely. Very quiet. The Wifi is outstanding. The 13 and 14 year old grandsons voted this is the best VRBO we have stayed in for the past 3 years. I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again. Walmart - grocery stores, restaurants - and a water park are only 20 mins away. We spent a lot of time in the Red River gorge area - but next time we voted to rent a boat and stay here the entire time.

Great home!

We are all nurses and wanted a little girls time! We had a thunder storm that night and the power went out! It didn’t deter us! We cooked our lasagna on the grill! The owner responded when contacted and was great to work with! Everyone couldn’t believe how nice the house was! It was clean and had a great rec room!

We had family come in from several states to celebrate our uncle turning 70 and everyone was happy with our accomodations except perhaps not knowing ahead of time how narrow the road in the community to the house is.

Overall Nice Stay

Perfect little home for our family trip. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the pool table and fire pit. Overall could use some decor upgrades and deep cleaning but didn't affect our stay at all. We had trouble with the hot tub but were able to figure it out. The owner was accessible and answered the few questions we had promptly.

Take advantage of relaxing in the hottub and experiencing the Falls.

The inside of the cabin was clean. The hottub experience was not so good. The temperature was luke warm and the jets shut off after 10 or 16 minutes and would not come on again. I thought maybe the temperature had to be warmer gor the jets to work. I covered it up and thought they might of not got it started too long before we got there. Next day Tuesday it rained Sun came out about 4:00 p.m. So me and the kids went to gat in hottub temperature was 98 but after 10 mi utes jets turned off and would not come backon. I conta ted Connie she responded quickly and said to give her 30 min. She would be there. She explained about a reset button out at the front of cabin. The water was low so while she was there we added water but now we would wait for the ne xt day fiqured it would take till then to warm up. That was Wednesday. The temperature was only 88 jets were working. I like it warmer but the kids can take it. We did not get back in. Thursday hiking till late when we got back. Friday morning I was going to get in hottub I tried still only 88 and I got out. The 5 year old was already complaining of an ear ache and they all had to go to the clinic after we got home. I believe the malefunction of the hottub not holding the proper temperature, adding water the woul change the chemical balance

A slice of quietness

I want to thank personally the owner who was so cooperative and so beautifully on target with any questions that we had to offer to her for answers and she would communicate with us in just a matter of hours, maybe even sooner. Sometimes depending on her schedule but to rent from her was an absolute true story about her living conditions being clean up to date and very accessible once you were able to find the house. Me being not from that area I had to learn. That's the only reason why I'm saying it's hard to for me and me only to find us diamond of a place. I want to thank her personally with this story and I'm also looking forward for a long relationship with coming back. I want to thank, VURBO for allowing her to post her house on the website they were just as easy to deal with anybody looking for a quiet place to relax and I hear a great place to fish and going into town is really an exciting adventure. Have a great vacation with the owner. I can't say enough good things about her. Thank you for having us stay at your home

Perfect couple getaway!

My husband and I traveled down to Burnside for our 5th wedding anniversary. We don’t get many days alone as we both had children when we met and had one together later. The house and facilities were clean and neat. I LOVED the safety of the gated community. There is even a little fire pit on the property! Our favorite part though, was the hot tub. Perfect for easing muscle aches the days we went hiking to Cumberland Falls and DogSlaughter falls. The owner made sure she was readily available to us for anything we needed and left numbers for housekeeping and maintenance (which we didn’t need but appreciated being available to us). We really enjoyed our stay. I’d love to bring the kids back with us and go check out the Cumberland Falls Moonbow in the future.

Labor Day Weekend getaway

Property was just as listed. Hot tub was awesome, pool was just down the street. We had a fire pit for s'mores. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

What a great cabin!

We stayed 2 nights and loved it. This property is beautiful and piece full. My family loved it. They have everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. Overall a very nice place to have a great family vacation!

Family gathering

The cottage was cozy and clean. We really enjoyed our time together at our stay. Hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. We were sad it turned to cold to go swimming but we looked the pool over and agreed it looked like fun. We come down the same time every year and will speak to the owner to stay once more. You can't go wrong staying at this cottage with it's warm cozy feely.

Enjoyed our stay! Decorations needed a littlle updating still a little Christmas feel. There were burn marks on carpet in living room and sink in bathroom. Hot tub lights didnt work. Minor things. Would definitely come back!

Family Trip to Kentucky Mountains

The overall experience was great! We really enjoyed ourselves. We made some great memories playing pool and hiking at the nearby Cumberland Falls. We went to a restaurant in Whitley called Dairy Bar and everything was homemade and their ice cream was delicious! The hot tub was a great addition, just remember to check the temperature when you arrive and keep the tarp on while it heats up and you’ll be good to go! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Good but could be better

Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay. But the dishes and the towels could use some updating. The hot tub needs fixing and leveled and the pool tables needs leveled. The couch in the basement was dirty. I'm not a picky person but if you're gonna rent something out it should be neat and clean with everything working
