The cabin was a beautiful place, would have been a lot better in the summer, I am not cutting this place down it was very nice but it was cool and so were the floors of the upstairs, could of used some heat in the unfinished basement to help warm them. The other issue was and this what hurt the most was there were about 50 of the Japanese beetles living with us they were all over the ceiling and coming down in our sleep and and also having dinner with us. And remind you they do bite. I don't know if someone left a door open the week before when it was warm but they were terrible. But really it is a beautiful Vacation spot. And we thought about going back during warmer month but hoping the beetles are gone, would love to bring my grandkids and enjoy the river and everything else about this beautiful home...

This house was amazing. It had everything we could need and want plus more! There was plenty of entertainment for kids ages 8-adult. We had teens and smalls and everyone had things to do. The house was clean and stocked with anything imaginable.

Excellent view of river

Everything as if you were at home. Had all plates,pans, silverware, and more. Plenty of board games and othet things to keep busy if your not outside. Have shuffleboard and pingpong table. We had plenty of firewood provided for us during our week stay.

Enjoyable even in the rain

Our family stayed during “generational” flooding rain storms. But we still had a good time cooking together in the well equipped kitchen, having shuffleboard tournaments in the basement and spending time in front of the fireplace.

Early Family Christmas Celebration

Our stay was wonderful! We were meeting our adult children and their pups to celebrate an early Christmas. The house was perfect with plenty of room. The main living area with the fireplace was nice in the evenings. The large dining table and fully stocked kitchen was wonderful for our Christmas Dinner! The table was also wonderful for fame nights! We had so much fun making use of the basement …lots of fun and laughs ! I can’t thank you enough for putting up a small tree and the decorations you put out for Christmas! We will definitely book again, but next time with warmer temps to enjoy the balcony and river! Even on those chilly morning it was beautiful to just look out at the river! Thank you for such a wonderful place !

So peaceful and everything you need

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday. The quiet location, tranquility of the flowing river, the fully stocked kitchen, screened porches and all of the games made this an outstanding stay. We certainly plan to be back.

Perfect House & Property!

The communication with the host couldn’t have been better. Very quick response to questions & concerns. The house was wonderful. Clean, stocked with everything you could possibly want, plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 large dogs. Would love to rebook and go back

WOW!

We enjoyed the house and accomodations very much! The house sits right above the Cumberland River and hearing the water close by was amazing.
