"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...

"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. "The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them."

"This has been our second stay at this location, although this time we stayed at Highland view. the reason we came back is because of the large fenced garden area with wire mesh so the dog can be let loose without a worry. Bed was very comfy with clever storage underneath, hot tub was perfect, and the caravan seems new and well kept. Excellent views as well and we will definitely come again! "Really fantastic and well furnished cottage. The location is great with 2 pubs within a 3 minute walk. The BBQ hut and outdoor seating is perfect and the kitchen had basics available like fruit teas, oil, salt, pepper ect. The only reason for no 5 stars is the bed in the second bedroom is a small double/large single and not big enough for 2 adults. There is also no gate on the front garden seating area which meets directly to the road, so inappropriate for dogs. I would however stay again...

"Exceptionally clean property, beautiful views, very quiet location, lovely cake on arrival from the host. Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom."
