So awesome!!! Everything as described.Gerri was very attentive and quick to help us and respond. She went above and beyond! The beds were all so comfortable and everyone had enough space to move around the view was absolutely breathtaking and not a long walk to the dock. We had three boats with plenty of room! Kitchen has everything and more, plenty of linens, towels and paper goods for the week! We will definitely be back again.. The best visit to Lake Lanier ever!

Fourth of July Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is spacious and well equipped. The kitchen is stocked with various cookware, tableware and drinkware. There really wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. The linens and towels are of good quality and there are extras of everything, including a good quantity of pool/lake towels. The pool and dock are well supplied with floats of all kinds and life jackets of various sizes. The pool deck, upper dock and both house decks are well furnished with plenty of cushioned seating to enjoy the surrounding area. The lot is the perfect mix of sun and shade. The location on the lake is perfect in a quiet cove with easy access to marinas and on the water restaurants. Geri is a lovely and attentive host. She was very communicative, responsive and informative. We had a really nice with with our family and were able to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks from the deck.

Lake house stay

Overall, the property was well represented by the listing and was fully stocked with everything you may want to enjoy some time at the lake. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed but beyond struggles with pool cleanliness they are all manageable. The owner is fantastic and really tries to make sure that everything is set for your visit. She lives right next door and is available it seems like instantaneously. She even messaged us after the visit to ask if we’d left something behind.

Great Lake Property

We had a wonderful time at the lake house! Geri was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The dock was amazing with the kayaks and canoe. The teens enjoyed fishing and we rented a boat for some extra fun on the lake. Great house for multiple families!

Disappointed in the house!

First of all I don’t want this to seem to be an attack on the host. As she seems to be a nice person. With that said. Our experience with house was a little well maybe a bit more than a little disappointing. This house is in need of major TLC from professionals. I will give you a few of the issues we ran into. First the HotTub was inoperable. The electrical in the house was well maybe an unqualified person redid the electrical. Lights flickered, switches didn’t control anything, lights on ceiling fans wouldn’t come on, but the most scary problem is that in a closet was exposed wires. That is just to name a couple of electrical issue we ran into. Then there was the garbage disposal that didn’t work and the sink leaked a lot. The decking around pool and deck needs bunch of attention. Rot is most of the issue. Even to the point I stepped on a step heading to the pool and the board snapped through. The upstairs AC in the afternoons couldn’t keep up to keep the house cool. Climbed to a comfortable 76 degrees if that is what you like on a hot summer day. The entire house is in need of a pressure washing. It’s really bad. The refrigerator upstairs make sure you don’t put much in there it won’t keep it cold. Don’t forget the ice machine doesn’t work either. Despite all the issues we only brought the disposal to the host attention. She asked to put a pot under the sink. Later telling me she would give us a 300.00 credit for that inconvenience. Still waiting on that. Good Luck

Family vacay 2024

This property was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 couples, my 23 year old son, and two young grand children. There are various areas for family togetherness as well as space to retreat when necessary:) the location is great. Somewhat remote (in a good way) but close to so many things to do. The dock area and lake were amazing. We watched the Margaritaville fireworks from the 2nd story deck on July 4th and 5th. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and well appointed kitchen. Geri, the owner, was very helpful and accessible. True southern hospitality. We would definitely stay again!

A Retreat Feel

This house is definitely a home away from home! So serene and comfortable. The owner thought of everything and truly make you want to stay there forever. The house is listed as 7 bedrooms but it is only 5 bedrooms. The loft should not be considered a bedroom nor the closet that has beds in it. All in all, I would go back.

Great stay, manager accommodating

Our family gathered at this property for our Thanksgiving holiday and we enjoyed our stay. Property manager, Geri, was hospitable, communicated with us as often needed and was very accommodating. Property was spacious and lake view relaxing. I highly recommend this property for your next vacation.

Road Atlanta

A group of 11 of us traveled to Atlanta to witness the Sealmaster Lexus win the championship. The house is an easy drive to the track and was setup really well. We all enjoyed our stay and Geri was a wonderful host! We will definitely rent this house again next year!

The house had multiple spaces for sleeping arrangements for family groups with children. The pool was a big hit with the younger kids. The boat dock was able to fit a rented tritoon. Lake is great!

Friend Meetup at the lake

Great location, and a big house. We had all adults, so some sleeping arrangements were a tad tight, but totally comfortable. Some great rooms for families with kids as well. Deck and lower patio off the back of the home are GREAT views and very comfortable most of the day (sun rises at the front of the house). Location on the lake is convenient to a few marinas for boat rental. 2 kitchens is super helpful, and there are LOTS of kitchen tools. Host is very responsive and quick to help with any questions or issues. 3 private rooms, 1 semi-private room (would be great for family with young kids) and one bunk room, as well as some couch (sleeper) and floor space. Overall a very pleasant experience - some projects ongoing, would be happy to visit again and see some of the results!

No more VRBO

Geri is helpful and easy to get in touch with if problems arise. We are a large group who likes to stay up late. Learning that there is a strict noise ordinance upon arrival was disappointing. That should be clearly noted in the property description. The neighborhood is lovely but the houses are very close together.The pool is quite nice but after the storm it quickly developed an algae bloom and we were unable/unwilling to swim for the rest of our stay. Geri did contact us and gave updates about the situation but it never resolved. Geri does all she can to maintain the property but it is need of serious maintenance, as mentioned in previous comments. The checkout procedures are in a binder and not on the VRBO website That’s when you discover you can be charged large fees for not closing up the property. We did our due diligence but that should be disclosed before booking the property. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and we won’t be returning.

Nice Getaway

We rented this place because of all the amenities listed to keep the kids happy. The kayaks were the biggest hit, along with the huge water float, the pool, piano, pool table and popcorn maker. This place has every gadget you can imagine. I also appreciated that the owner supplied things like paper towels and napkins and garbage bags and spices galore for cooking. If you are older (I am 76) and have trouble walking, you might find the walk down to the dock challenging. The kids did just fine. The stairs up or down inside the house are steep, so I only navigated those once a day and stayed on the main floor. We also had deer walking down the road and feeding at the house across the street, and in the morning, coffee on the upper deck allowed you to watch the bird activity.

Family Vacation

There were ten of us, 6 adult couples and 4 teens/young adults. The house is right on the water, and the kids enjoyed fishing from the dock most days. We had amazing weather! The house worked well for our needs, with 3 king bedrooms as well as 3 others. The two kitchens came in very handy for a large group. Geri was a fantastic host— very responsive to all our needs. All in all we had a wonderful week.

Great spot

The house was very convenient to Road Atlanta. It was great for cooking and entertaining. The smoker was like new and did a great job. Gerri was a great hostess!
