We will definitely return to Serene Cove. House is very comfortable and updated. We prepared large dinners every night in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed watching the deer roam outside the house. We sat around the fire every evening before dinner. Played games at the large dining room table. Chris was very responsive and did an in person same day repair at the house. Enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. Loved having our dog with us. Great house and location.

I've been vacationing with family now for 33 years and I have to say this is a top 3 place for us! Everybody (5 adults, 4 kids) loved it. Water mats were much appreciated. Caught catfish off the pier, kayaked the whole area, spotted eagles, otters and muskrats! Loved the winery and golf course. A

4th of July Week

Thank you so much for sharing your lake house with us—we truly enjoyed our stay! The layout of the home was great, and it made for a relaxing and fun getaway. Heads up.. The proximity of the dock to the house is a little far (& downhill), especially for elderly. The driveway is very steep as well.

We needed a place to stay close to a wedding venue and this was only 10 minutes away and perfect for our family of 3 couples and a dog. The lake and dock were great and we had a great time for a long weekend

Three grandkids, 10, eight, and six. They had a blast. Loved the Doc loved the fishing, love the woods behind the house. They also love the deer running through the yard every day.

It's ok

The good things are, there are 2 whole kitchens! The bottom one isn’t even stocked with utensils, but it’s there! And there are 2 whole living rooms. It would be a comfortable place for 2 families to stay. The firepit is NICE! And they have a lots of games, indoor and outdoor. It is set up for family fun! There is a lake, down a long, monitored pathway. The dock is private so that is nice. The driveway is seriously steep. It should be pictured better. I felt it could have been a lot cleaner. There were roaches, but I guess that comes with having a house on the lake. There were a lot of crumbs that were in the cushions of the couch. I found that out when I went looking for the remote. Also, I didn’t understand why they didn’t want us to strip the sheets off the bed although they wanted us to take towels to the laundry room. Striping the sheets just seems clean to me and something I don’t mind doing, because it implies that the sheets were washed before you got there. It is possible maybe they were being nice didn’t want the customers to have to strip the sheets off the bed. Also, I had to ask for the code to get in the house and when they sent it, the message said they had sent it before, which they had not. So communication wasn’t that great, either. Overall, it was an ok stay.

Very cute lake getaway

Very nice property for several adults and children. The two living areas and kitchens (one per level) were perfect for adding a little separation between families. The lake is a very short walk down a path, and the trees between add some privacy. Game table options were great, and the kids were excited to see a deer on the property one morning. The road and driveway are steep, but accurately depicted in the photos. We'd happily book here again!

Beautiful Property, Clean Home

We were really pleased with the cleanliness of this home. There are enough updates that it is a very pleasant environment and the housekeeping staff is clearly very thorough. Everything we needed for a long weekend was provided. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed well supplied. The grounds were beautiful and overall this was a great space for my parents and their adult children to gather and spend some time together. One thing to be aware of is that the trip down the driveway is very steep, but it levels out sufficiently. My parents are in their mid-80's and we were able to pull the car up to the front door so they didn't need to navigate any tricky terrain. The master bedroom and bath on the main level were perfect for them! The shower was walk-in without even a small ledge to step over. It was completely flat. Highly recommend this home!

Great space, beautiful property!

We loved this rental!! It was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped! The beds/bedding were very comfortable, as was all the furniture! Rooms/ closets were great size. We came to area to visit Lake Lanier Island for their snow tubing, ice skating attractions. This house was perfect location! Quick 15 min drive, as instructed. Perfect layout for our multi-family group. Just all around cozy home away from home!! Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!
