Wonderful home to basecamp in Chaffee County

This house is a perfect location for a family or group of friends to basecamp out of. It's centrally located (~2mi from BV) and has a TON of amenities (e.g., barrel sauna, garage hangout, hot tub). We loved it!

Beautiful, quiet stay

This is a well-equipped, welcoming house. It was so quiet at night and the hot tub was great! We just wanted to relax and this house filled the bill!

Clean and comfortable!!

Nice and cozy with space for everyone. Garage remodel is a fun family space but almost too hot to sleep on the bunks. Well equipped kitchen. Great deck and patio for relaxing. Communication was easy and owners respond quickly. Would stay there again!!

Amazing!!

We had an amazing stay at the Buffalo House! The property had beautiful views of surrounding mountains, the wildlife was fun to see everyday on the property, the house was comfy and cozy and perfect for our family…very spacious too. We loved everything about our stay and hope to make it back in the future!

Amaizing modest home

This property is amaizing. When you first walk in its very spacious and warm. Very nice large kitchen with all the cooking and appliances you could ask for. They even had seasonings if you didn't have your own. The living room was very comfortable and large enough for our whole party. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable bedding. Each room had a different theme which I thought was a nice touch. Overall great house. The hidden gem about this home were the two guitars. Perfectly tuned and just created alot of good conversation and laughter (cause we tried but were not good at playing) Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Perfect

This home was perfect for our stay. We spent the days skiing with a group of friends. This was the perfect place to come back home to rest and relax all together. The garage area was perfect for the kids to hang out in. Very spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen. This was the perfect place for our stay.

Great house, the room with the bunk beds is super warm as well. The house had just about everything we needed. Fast, friendly responses to my questions. We had a girls trip and it was perfect for us.

Beautiful home

Our family of ten stayed here and the accommodations were perfect for us. The home was very clean and decorated with such style. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The hot tub was a big plus. Very comfortable patio furniture. Unfortunately, the cool weather at night and the wind prevented us from enjoying the fire pit. The hosts were wonderful and prompt in replying to our every need. The only negative we had was perhaps the location since it was on a busier road but the front patio is enclosed and gives you privacy while sitting outside. It is close to town and the hot springs. You will not find a cleaner rental or a better host.

Great long weekend in a beautiful home with all the amenities.....and only 1.5 miles to downtown BV

We were there with another couple who had not been to Buena Vista before..........celebrating their 22nd anniversary. Home was clean and very well-stocked. We took advantage of the hot tub and spent a lot of time in the garage/rec area...........when not site-seeing in Leadville, Salida, Buena Vista or the mountains. Awesome place for 6-10 people.
