"Property was amazing! And Shaun was wonderful with my late night panic of not being able to get in only to find out my GPS took me to the wrong house. "I left after I saw the property, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe there the front door is right by the “bed” which is a very small uncomfortable futon, I didn’t feel like the locks were secure to the front door, the bathroom was tiny you can barely even get in there, the comforter and sheets were worn and the whole place has a weird smell. It was awful I will be very careful about where I stay from now on after this experience. "

"Perfect spot for a girls weekend. Plenty of space to sleep, without feeling like the rooms were crowded. All of the beds were comfortable, not a bad spot in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, so we were able to bring groceries and cook for most meals. It was even stocked with whole beans from a local coffee shop and a grinder- a great touch that we thoroughly enjoyed! The hot tub, fire pit, and the view are killer.It’s a quick 15-20min into Harper’s Ferry or over to Hillsboro...

"The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....

The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week.
