Village Hotel St David's, Nr Chester
Hotel is lovely but very busy as the gym is open to public so many locals were in and out which wasn't a problem but it is crowded, We had no iron or remote batteries for the TV which was odd maybe someone took them home with them ? Reception resolved battery issues but no iron arrived which is fine ...

Log Cabin in the Clwydian Range
Great stay very relaxing, great location & very good links to shops , lovely little pub walking distance great communication throughout will definitely stay again thank you x

Porter's lodge by heritage Railway line (adjoining Station House)
Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Having the beds made as double requires some gymnastics as headroom is limited in the converted loft. Overall a lovely place to stay and well ...
