"Lovely, well maintained and comfortable property in a quiet village giving us the full “country” experience. Relaxing in the hot tub on mornings and evenings with views of the valley was amazing. Good quality beds and bedding in all rooms made for a relaxing visit with everyone in the family enjoying a good nights sleep each night. Good pubs and food available in nearby villages within short (20 min) drives. Lots of interesting places to visit in local area. Would visit again in the future. "

"La zona es muy tranquila y bonita. La casa esta en muy buenas condiciones y la calefaccion va genial. Quiza deberian revisar un poco el menaje, pero es cierto que dejan todo lo necesario para limpiar. El trato es via mobil o e.mail, pero eficiente. A mas dejan detalles para la llegada y se agradece mucho. Repetiriamos sin problemas. "

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "
