We booked this cabin for our extended family Thanksgiving weekend and were excited for a comfortable stay with our group of 22. Unfortunately, the property fell well short of expectations.Several key amenities were either broken upon arrival or unusable. The dishwasher didn’t work at all, which made managing meals for such a large group extremely difficult. The stovetop also had issues, further complicating cooking during one of the biggest meal weekends of the year. The biggest disappointment, however, was the game room. Multiple games were broken, and even worse, there was a persistent sewer smell that made the room unpleasant and ultimately unusable. The smell was strong enough that the guests assigned to sleep there had to find other places to stay.While the cabin had potential and the location was nice, the number of maintenance issues made our stay far more stressful than it should have been. For the price and size of this rental, we expected everything to be in proper working order. I hope the owners address these problems promptly so future guests can have the experience we were hoping for.
