"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

We could not get booked onto any tennis courts, the swimming pool was always fully booked and the cafe/restaurant always refused to serve as 'over busy'. "We stayed in the department down the street, apart from the hotel's main building. Its beautifully decorated interiors made us very happy throughout our stay. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and we had to keep the windows open to keep cool, which led to spiders and noise from the main street coming in. The back garden needs a little bit of love, too. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!"
