Perfect to our needs
We’re so happy to have found this getaway spot and already looking forward to going back. Perfect sized and located apartment for a couple and Dog. Well appointed and lovely thoughtful touches. Communication was excellent Mario was there if we needed but left us to enjoy our peace and quiet. We all had a wonderful time thank you.

Bribie getaway
Very well appointed, comfortable apartment. In 2022 my husband, and I and our dog stayed here for a short stay. This year I returned with my dog for a restful break. The Bribie RSL is only a five minute walk, Bongaree foreshore is a twenty minute walk, following the Boulevard local traffic only.

Incredible!
Cannot recommend this beautiful little apartment enough! Mario was a wonderful host, showing us everything there was to know and then giving us the privacy to really enjoy our honeymoon. The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything you could ever need and safe to say the location was one in a million! We would move out here if we could, thankyou Mario!

Great, comfortable and quiet escape
We had a really nice and relaxing stay at The Hide. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the location is fantastic in a quiet street without traffic. Sometimes you walk into a place and you feel it's got a good vibe; The Hide gave us that feeling. Our dog also thought it was a great stay as it's within walking distance of the beach where he had a couple of good swims and plays. Mario was a lovely host who was available in case we had any questions. Communication was quick and genuine. Will definitely come back

Dog Friendly Oasis
Wonderful dog friendly accommodation, close to off-lead beaches. Five-minute walk to the Bribie RSL Social that is also dog friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed Mario's place, very clean and everything you need is there. Will definitely be returning.

Terrific, comfortable property. Perfect for a short stay or a longer stay base for exploring Bribie and its surrounds. Host Mario communicated with us from the moment we booked and stayed in-touch right up to after we checked out.

Fantastic place for a getaway. Perfect for walking around to the town shops, nearby dog beach.
Mario was a fantastic host, great communication on arrival and check in as well as our stay. It’s fantastic to be able to bring our dogs with us. The space was fantastic, very clean and felt like a home with everything one would need. Fully stacked kitchen and outdoor BBQ next to the pool And large outdoor table that’s covered if it’s raining. Will definitely be staying here again.

A perfect hideaway in a quiet part of Bribie.
The Hide is awesome accommodation with a friendly host. There is a bird hide steps away to view migrating birds. For guests with dogs, nearby Red Beach becomes an awesome off leash dog beach as you head towards Woorim Beach. You could walk the whole way if you have the energy or drive to Woorim (which is what we did ). Within walking distance there is beachfront shopping, cafes, and the local RSL. It is also a great location from which you can enjoy day trips over the bridge to other parts of Queensland. Mario is a welcoming host. He was very accommodating to us and our dogs. We will definitely stay at The Hide again.

Wonderful
Mario’s property was wonderful in so many ways. The location was very relaxing and felt ‘tucked away’ being across the road from a conservation park and with peaceful, dog friendly beaches close by. The property itself was really well designed and everything was extremely clean. So much thought had obviously gone into making it a very special place to stay. Mario and Karla were fabulous hosts. We wouldn’t have even known they were there but we asked for help with something once and their response was beyond generous and kind. We were so grateful and we look forward to visiting ‘The Hide’ again.

Tranquility at its best
There are yet to be enough words in the English vocabulary to accurately describe The Hide. On the little island of Bribie, I discovered what it was truly like not to be disappointed on arrival of a property I had booked online. The Hide is truly perfect. It felt more like a spa then a holiday rental. Everything you could wish for was provided. The caliber of taste of every single detail was to me, was outstanding. I felt completely calm and at home, happy and relaxed, safe and silently taken care of, private and peaceful. I could seriously to fill this review with beautiful adjectives. The owners have put in such thoughtful touches, where the whole experience was a pleasant and wonderful surprise. This is not a party house, it’s an oasis. Brava Carla and Mario, brava.

Unbelievable. A largish one bed room apartment with interesting layout a fabulous private pool and every imaginable supplementary supply like three different forms of coffee as well as teas all topped of with beautiful chocolates in the fridge door. MAGIC

The best little getaway for a long time!
We generally book dog friendly Accomadation, some turn out better than others… this was definitely better!! Dog friendly beaches, her favourites are close by. The pool was sooo relaxing and dinner on the bbq was yum 🤤. Everything was perfectly clean and very comfortable. Mario has thought of every detail that holiday makers could want and we were truly happy with our stay. We wanted to stay longer and our almost adult son enjoyed his time with us and the location and tried a couple of new things including jet skiing which he can’t wait to do again. We were unsure at first to make the booking when we realised that the owner lived upstairs, “ Do not be put off by this” We were very happy that we did. We were not even aware that he was there. A meet and greet by Mario upon arrival and departure. We definitely will be back again.

Wonderful find!
Perfect place to stay - a very private apartment and peaceful & quiet surroundings. The apartment is very well set-up and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering, and the cleanliness through-out is 5 star! The pool is wonderful and very private. It got lots of use from us when the beach weather was less than perfect. Mario is a wonderful host, making us feel welcome and at home, while always respecting our privacy. Mario goes the extra mile to make the apartment extra special - all you will need to take are your clothes and your toothbrush. We will definitely be staying again in the near future! There is a short walk to the off-leash dog beach, which the dog rates 5 stars. Thank you Mario, you made our stay a 10/10.

Perfect weekend retreat!
The property is clean and well maintained. Love the private pool and the availability of everything you might need provided for. Lots of books, DVD collection, puzzles, and music CDs. Clean towels and basic toiletries provided. There was even dog shampoo for our pooch which we truly appreciated as there was a dog beach close by. RSL 200meters away was perfect for meals. Perfect place for a quick getaway from the city and will definitely be back! 5 stars!
