Perfecta ubicación en Brisbane
Perfecta ubicación en el corazón de la ciudad. Una cuadra de un parque lindísimo, tiendas, cafés y restaurantes. El hotel tiene la piscina más linda que he visto.

I stay river city short break
Was initially a bit worried after making my booking and checking out reviews but I was more than happy with our appartment, location was great room had everything we need for our short stay and I would happily stay again on my next visit to Brisbane,

Check in took forever. No instructions on where i could park, the computer at reception had glitches that took over 30 minutes to wiork, there were not enough kitchen related items. Eg i had to call to get a baking dish and when it was brought it, it had a big lable stuck to it which i was not able to remove. I took it to reception and staff were very helpful but took around 20 minutes to soak and scrape off. There were no oven mits and i burned my hand. There was a previous guest that had left her supplements in our fridge, after a few phone calls and her coming in with hotel staff to check our fridge in which she did not find her supplements at the end. I got a room with a kirchen so i could cook but i was not able to at the end. We had to eat out and the meals we ordered were terrible. It all sounds too comical. One more thing, we wanted to go back to the car and literally went to every level to fibd it. The levels are not properly written next to the lifts, eg c3 c2...

Fantastic stop comfy rooms, staff are very helpful and understanding. Really enjoyed our stay. In prime location for food, shopping, site seeing and not too far from airports. Good to see fireworks. Pool, gym and sauna great condition.

Not happy that the rooms are not air conditioned. We came from gold coast because we had no power to have a nice sleep in AC. Very disappointed

Can’t fault the spot as it’s a couple of blocks to everything and the new train station will make it even more convenient. It’s like the other Oaks properties we’ve stated in and the bathroom could do with a tidy up as it’s looking dated. One lift was out of action so sometimes took 10 minutes to get to the ground floor. Not their fault as we discovered they’ve been waiting months for the repairs to be completed. Personally I don’t want to go in a faulty lift up 40 floors so didn’t bother me. All in all fairly clean and tidy and had everything you need for a family. We’d stay there again for sure.

River view apartment had a lovely view of the river and the hinterland, apartment was spacious and fully equipped and very clean, would recommend to anyone but only 1 lift operating means you can wait a long time to get your apartment!

Tired and old
Great location but let down by the overall tiredness of the room. Carpets were worn and the bathroom cleanliness was poor. Definitely in need of refurbishment. Only one lift was operating and with 30 floors it took sometime to get up and down.

Bit aged but ok. The receptionist was quite hard to understand. Little bit more coffee would have been nice. 2 each on first morning and then there was no more. The curtains don’t block out the light in the bedroom very well. Good place to stay though and the elevator system is quite good.

poor experience
Hotel quality is not matched the price I paid. Lift was out of the order , have to climb the stairs to reach the floor we stay. It was a good exercise. Think about the elderlies and people with disabilities and family with young kids. Should not happend at all in Brisbane CBD Hotel. It was a poor experience.

The photos on the website were a bit misleading. During our stay, only 1 of the 2 elevators were working so long waits for the lift. The appliances were very outdated and the carpet and walls were dirty. The shower door and frame was rusty. Even the bathroom garbage can was rusty and dirty! How much does it cost to get a new bathroom garbage can???

We generally like Oaks properties and have stayed in many. This one is in a great location but is very tired. The drier has a broken filter that kept falling off, one of the lounges was so dirty I didn’t want to sit on it and the table had a wobbly leg about to fall off. It also smelled really bad. For the price it wasn’t to the standard I would expect.

Check in was a nightmare. The gentleman that helped us couldn’t speak English. Felt for him and us as we were exhausted. The management was very cheap about providing extra dish detergent, toilet paper, etc. You had to pay for it. We got enough stuff for one day and were there for six. The apartment was dated, but had a lovely balcony.

The apartment is spacious, neat and tidy, facilities in the apartment are enough for us to enjoy meal time and also the journey there. The apartment is located in BCD, very convenient for us to shop around on foot.

Good location and staff friendly however I would not recommend this property. Apartment dirty. Fridge leaking. Kitchen cabinets broken. Wardrobe doors difficult to open and close. Television remotes need replacing. No plug in bathroom. Entire apartment needs refurbishment.

I felt the property was outdated and felt old and tattered. The soap shelf in the bathroom was broken. In saying that, the bed was very comfortable, and the room served its purpose of proximity to a job interview that I could walk to. I had a lovely stay and caught up with some friends and family

I love the room and view. Great staff as well. I met 3 during my stay. All 3 were lovely and helpful. I didn't get all 3 names but I did get one, so a shout out to Papatchaya who go that early morning shift helping me with extending my stay and room requirements.
