Para uno o dos días
Hay buen ambiente y el horario de cocina es genial, pero la limpieza no es buena ya que como vive gente ahí parece que ni se molestan en limpiar la habitación.

Great place
First time in a capsule and it was just great. Everything was fine apart from one guest that had feet almost as smelly as I experienced in the war. No way the management can be expected to be feet police. Ha ha. Great place. Great staff. Great location. Seriously

The management has successfully cultivated a culture of polite and considerate behaviour from guests. We found everyone to be helpful and friendly. It was quiet from 10pm until fairly late in the morning. The #86 frequent shuttle bus was a great surprise and quite a bonus. We didn't need to use the car at all in the 3 days we stayed. Convenient and comfortable venue.

Facilities with pool and sports well set up along with kitchen Quiet and well supervised Only the dark crammed small room with basically three bunks along wall no artificial light to see even in daylight to pack up bags Plus other two bunks far end with no hang up space or locker just some non specific shelves with people's mixes up items Toilet shower turn around size in together so could wait to gain access I got dressed and repacked by pool amenities

Nothing over the ordinary
Lovely little spot! Busy busy busy - and that’s good! I stayed in a capsule and it had all it needed for my one night stay. Was it more than I expected? Nope. You get what you pay for - the bare minimum. And that’s good’ the place is a little worn down but they are trying slowly to renovate. Overall a great stay :)

Staff were available 24 hours and were very friendly and helpful. Great location. However, the single room I had didn't look like the one in the pictures. It had a bad odour but got cleaned the next day. Not worth the money I paid as I paid for a 4-bed private room thinking I was paying for a single-bed room. Quite noisy but understandable. Overall, ok.

Was efficient checking, clean & tidy room.. only warning is don’t store your access swipe card next to your iphone if you have a magnetic cover.. wiped swipe card access and mobile ended up with white mobile screen for over an hour before being able to reset.. 😬

The backpackers is in a great location (walking distance to Convention centre etc) and good value. I was in a private room with private bathroom. Unfortunately the bathroom was not well cleaned (hairs on the shower wall etc), but the rest of the room was fine.

Hello John, Appreciate the feedback. For the benefit of other readers, John was not comfortable allowing us to photocopy his ID on check in which is a standard procedure in most venues. We were as flexible as we could be on check in, keeping in mind that this procedure is here to protect other guests should incidents occur. Safe travels BBR

No aircon as advertised. Only runs from december until February. Had a fan but it was loud and sounded like it was going to expload. Couldn't fill water bottle in room as the sink was tiny small. Rooms were hot both day and night. Bright side beds were half comfy.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. It is a little hard for us to follow up on anything with anonymous reviews. All of our room types have photos available when you book and they all show that the rooms have bunk beds as we are a backpackers. Best of luck to you for the future.

It was not what was advertised ,bathroom was dirty and not private sharing with 8 others , bed sheet stained with white stained and sweat marks from previous person ,no free parking on site ,no breakfast ,no pool ,no spa worst place i have unfortunately ever been

Hello Darren, How disappointing seeing a review after I personally replied to your email and had your whole stay refunded. Either way I responded to each one of your points directly to your email and did not receive a reply. For the benefit of other readers. Our Capsule room (first in Queensland) has 8 beds and a private bathroom inside the room, from a Hostel point of view it means there is a bathroom inside the room. Some guests expect to have a bathroom for every single bed which no Hostel has. As soon as guests book a message gets sent explaining no breakfast and parking is subject to availability (says this online as well), some guests choose not to read this message. Our pool, spa are very easy to notice and 100% open. I already apologised about cleanliness and we had this rectified on the day. Safe travels, BBR

The staff wouldn’t let the person I’d paid for and noted on the booking in because they wanted photographic ID. I paid last minute for my friend because they had become homeless that night and despite explaining that and offering my Id etc to the staff they refused entry. Poor experience and I would have thought a hostel would be open to having someone in if others could vouch for them and even offer up their cc.

Hello, Appreciate the 'feedback'. Our policies are explained before booking and are here for the safety of our guests and staff. Photo ID is a standard policy at every venue I have ever worked. Hostels which target a more budget conscience market are usually more firm on policies to protect themselves. Fantastic atmosphere, staff and guests. Lots of activities. So close to South Bank and city. Plus free shuttle. Hard to beat, especially at their prices.

Okej, but very crowded kitchen
Overall I had a desent time here. Most of the problems had nothing to do with the hostel itself, but rather with the inconsiderate people staying there. However, the kitchen was a cagefight because it is ridiculously undersized for the amount of people staying at the hostel and should have been atleaste double the size! I cannot stress enough how crowded it gets and if you plan on staying here and preparing your own food you need to plan way ahead!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to let us know your feedback. Our Kitchen opens from 6am to 10pm. There are peak times when a number of people do cook at the same time and often in a group and share there meals, so it can get a little tight. We often find that these are only during these peak times and that there are other times when the kitchen is completely empty. Safe travels

The staff were pretty nice, the overnight guy super friendly! I wasn't a huge fan of a staff member popping in at night to check on the air-con. I think that's fine for shared dorm rooms but not something I would have expected in a private room. It's definitely something they could let you know on arrival.

Good location in West End down the road from bars & cafes. Not far from southbank. Really good common/bar area at the hostel which serves good value food. Amenities were good & dorms were spacious with a balcony. Staff were great.

Friendly staff, safe, clean
I stayed here with my daughter for one night so she could go to a concert in the city. We got a double private room on sale so it was cheap. Four bunks in rom, bathroom, TV, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, milk. Clean bedding privided. Room was plain and in old condition but clean and had everything needed. Was all quiet by 10:30pm (Monday night). Comfortable bunks. Felt safe. No issues. Friendly staff.

Först var jag skeptisk till att dela rum med andra, men jag fick massor av nya vänner under resans gång och det var trevligt att dela rum med åtminstone 2 av de då det gav lite mer gemenskap än om man haft eget rum
