The property is incredible, lovely pool and accommodations. The property mentions how it’s on 5 acres. We did expect the property to be much more isolated. You will have neighbors and that is NOT clear in the listing. We did encounter some issues that could arise on any property. The basement water started draining into the basement, they did call a property manager who couldn’t fix it, but they then called a plumber to fix it quickly. It was only mildly disturbing and we just had people in and out for a couple fours. It was during our family dinner. We also had a smoke alarm beeping on a very high ceiling. We called and they had it fixed within an hour. We had a beautiful time overall, and everyone we had to work with to get things fixed was very friendly and timely. You should put a trash can by the pool! That would be very nice.

Beautiful property, but needs some maintenance. None of the ice makers were working in any of the three homes and the elevator isn't for guests who rent the home to use (elevator isn't mentioned on VRBO site). The steam room smelled like mold, so it wasn't able to be used. The toilet in the pool house was clogged when we arrived. All of the doors in the main house are hard to open and close. The master bedroom shares a bathroom with one of the guest rooms. The door between the guest bedroom and master bathroom doesn't close all of the way, therefore; the shared master bathroom has no privacy. Not what you'd expect from a high end home. The view is beautiful and the pickleball and basketball courts were great additions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but won't return.

Perfect for a large group

Family Vacation

Our family greatly enjoyed our week at Belle Rive Mansion. It is a beautiful spacious property. We enjoyed the indoors and the outdoors. The houses were well stocked with just about everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it others. visitagain soon visit again in tfuture

Horne Wedding Bridal Party

Everything about the mansion was what we expected. We chose this spot because it would capture the elegance for our bridal party photos. The pool, the staircase, the driveway were perfect settings for our photos. Besides the elegance and luxurious details throughout, the amenities never ended. We ran out of time before we could enjoy every inch of the nation, but we plan to come back next year. The communication was great from the time we booked until the time we left. Every email was promptly replied to and sometimes with a phone call. The owner checked on us a few times which was very nice. The grounds keeper went above and beyond to create a great stay and even assisted us with capturing the perfect photo of my wedding dress.

Grand style

Fantastic property with plenty of room for everyone. There were a number of activities for all ages both indoor and outdoor. I can’t say enough about how gorgeous this property is. From the home to the pool, pickleball courts, and down to the dock, everything was well maintained and ready to use. It was also fun to learn about Janet Dailey and the history surrounding this home. We had trouble with one AC unit which was promptly resolved by Ryan, the property maintenance manager. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Property

Our multi-generational family had a wonderful week at Belle Rive. The main house exceeded our expectations in every way. The common areas had large tables in the kitchen and dining room. The living room was a great stage for our karaoke night, using the huge TV for the lyrics. The veranda was where we played euchre each night and just hung out. Several family members loved the sauna and steam room, using them every day. We were pleased to see a second fridge in the laundry room, and the elevator was a godsend. We used all four bedrooms in the guest house which was was beautiful and right across the driveway. Of course the best thing about the property is the gorgeous pool and deck area. We were there during a heat wave, so we were in it all day and night. The covered gazebo area provided nice shade with a bar area and comfortable furniture. The dock was a nice size. A canoe and 3 kayaks were available for our use. The pickleball courts were very nice, although because of the heat we did not get to use them too much. Communication with the host was great. I contacted them several times before we checked in and they always responded quickly. The caretaker of the property, Ryan, was a great resource and was always available by phone. Thank you, Ryan! This property will be hard to top. Our family is already hoping to come again next year.

Company Retreat

Over the weekend, our company stayed at this property for our annual company retreat and it was simply amazing! From kayaking on the river to the pickleball courts, singing around the campfire, swimming in the pool, playing games of pool and ping pong, enjoying the steam room and sauna... we had a wonderful time! Truly a beautiful property that takes your breath away.

Stunning!!

My family enjoyed their weekend stay at Belle Rive Mansion! This property helped everyone to just sit back and relax and take in the beauty that surrounded the estate! Even though there were a couple minor hiccups, such as the motor on the hot tub, at the time, was not working properly, and the WiFi service in the guest house was unavailable. I called the maintenance manager, and they were VERY Prompt and attentive to correct anything we needed for a comfortable stay. They were amazing!! All in all, this property was amazing and my family loved our stay! One of our favorite areas of the property was the Pickle Ball Court! Young and old played many games on this court and enjoyed every minute of it!! You will NOT be disappointed in this property! Thank you again for a great and relaxing stay!!
