This place was PERFECT! My husband and I have never taken a vacation with ALL of our children and their spouses or significant others, and this is exactly what I needed. Every room showed great care and thought and every bathroom was wonderfully laid out. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, I cooked every meal for all 9 adults and 2 children with ease. The table was large enough to accommodate all of us. We have not been able to sit together and enjoy a meal in a very long time. We loved all of the books, and games!Host was very responsive!

Our stay was EXCELLENT!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The lake view from the home on the decks is GREAT!!! The only hiccup we had walk down to the dock was a bit challenging for some of our group. It is long walk downhill to the dock and a challenging uphill walk on the way back. The home, the area, the host and everything else definitely AWESOME experience.

The perfect get-away that’s still close enough to everything! The “walk to the dock” is a pretty good workout! We caught several trout. The house itself is fantastic, albeit a little creaky upstairs, just adds to the charm of it all. Would definitely recommend if peace and quiet is what you’re looking for

This was a beautiful house and my family had a fantastic time. So relaxing and comfortable for all. Well maintained and completely outfitted with everything you can ask for. The host was very responsive and ensured all our needs were taken care of. Loved the showers, jacuzzi, easy access to the lake for trout fishing where we caught several. Beautiful views on the outdoor deck, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to take care of my large family of 18 ranging from an infant, young children, teenagers and adults. Wish I could live there as it is a dream home. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful house with our family reunion. If I could give more stars I would

Family trip

Everything was as described, noting the bunk beds are in very tight quarters with minimal space between bottom bunk so really only appropriate for elementary aged sleeping. The cooling system , whitewater and water pressure all earned 5 stars on their own. The amenities and supplies items were nice and plentiful ! The hot tub and sauna, gaming options were all used almost daily. Bring deep woods bug spray if visiting in season. But the house was without bugs , spiders and their webs even . Lots of great wildlife visitors. The description for the trail to the dock is correct , it was a trek and the include grade was no joke.The deck at the house and fire circle were great spaces for our group to have coffee in the am dinner as well as star gaze. The host was spectacular in responsiveness.

Cozy Hideaway

Beautiful home, but getting there and parking for more than 2 vehicles is an issue. Steep trail down to the dock, not for those with unstable gait. Views are awesome. All kinds of birds and even saw a newborn fawn. Grandkids loved the firepit. Very relaxing.

Friends gathered to help celebrate my 60th birthday. Rivendell was an amazing property for us with plenty of privacy for all our guests both outside and in the house, which is hard to find. The fireplaces, deck and accommodations were spectacular. Very comfortable though elegant space. Everyone left for home eager to return. We will be back.

8 Unusable private acres

Outdoor property is unusable. House and beds were decent. Most games are in outside garage and severly outdated. Dock is extremely hard to access. Basics like trashbags and dishwasher tablets not adequately provided. Wifi did not work, whirlpool tub would not hold water. Overall we enjoyed our time but for the cost, they need to update the house.

Overall, it was a great place to stay. Beautiful views and nice and quiet. The driveway was a bit difficult because it was super rough right by the house. And everything was amazingly clean with the exception of the kitchen floor. Everybody enjoyed being there very much.

Wedding weekend

Love the property and the house, plenty of room. We all wished we had more time to just hang out at the house! Love the big front porch and the decks out back. My husband and i walked down to the dock, beautiful! The directions at the very end were very hard to understand. There was no triple fork. Maybe something bright and easily visible needs to be put out near the correct road to take? We also couldnt find sheets for the pull out couch? All in all, i would bring my family back down to this gorgeous house. It was lovely, you guys did an awesome job. Thx, Debbie

Lovely home

We was a family of 17 and it was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful. Every room is different and unique. The hot tub was great. The views are wonderful. We saw 2 bald eagles just about every day that we was on the deck. They would come through in the morning and back through in the evening. I agree with others that says the walk to the dock is very challenging. Especially for my wife that has had both knees total knee replacements and heart problems. Even some of the younger, in shape people that was in our group, it was a challenge. The refrigerator did not make enough ice so we ended up buying a bag. Suggestion: Would be good to have a dish drain to put dishes in that cant go in the dishwasher. And to move the hot tub under a porch. That way it could be used if it was raining or snowing.

Very Clean and So Much Room!

We had an amazing stay in this home. The owners have everything you need for your stay. We were so impressed. And it was so clean not a cobweb or bug in sight anywhere… and I looked pretty hard in the kids’ bunk bed room to make sure. We loved the views from the deck and the sunsets were spectacular. Unless you are in pretty good shape I wouldn’t recommend the hike to the dock though the owners have put in a lot of work adding wooden steps and clearing the path.Still it is steep. The dock is so nice to fish from though we didn’t have any luck we weren’t really prepared for trout fishing.The only suggestion I could make is to find a way to add a TV to the upstairs living area as my elder parents were not able to make it downstairs to the entertainment room. We enjoyed playing chess and checkers and the large kitchen dining table was great for games.We would stay again!

Ladies slumber party!

We are 7 old friends that meet every year in a new place. We had a great time and the house was perfect. Loved the outdoorsy nature and the view was spectacular. We would love to come back sometime!

Truly a Hidden Haven

This is a great property for a group. Secluded with gorgeous views from a sky-high deck but with easy access to the shopping, entertainment and outdoor attractions of the Branson area. Kitchen is well-equipped, beds are great and there is plenty of room inside and out, as well as parking for a half-dozen vehicles. Host was great at answering questions we had on arrival. The only neighbors we saw were the deer, bald eagles, songbirds and maybe a possum. Highly recommended.
