Outstanding

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Pezuls. Andy and Jacqui were excellent hosts - they were very helpful and responsive yet also respected our privacy. The house is fantastic and has been extremely well equipped to the highest standard. It is in a beautiful part of France and we loved visiting Le Bugue, Sarlat, Perigueux, Bergerac and Tremolat. The large pool has varying depths and is perfect for young and old alike. I would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay to relax and explore the area.

A true Gem on Earth

First of all a deep bow to Andy and Jacqui, our very kind and welcoming hosts, to express our gratitude and who have made our stay unforgettable.The minute we arrived we fell in love with this stunning property in these unique and silent surroundings. We have stayed in several Dordogne homes over a long time and this beautiful house rates far the best. The house itself was impeccable and beyond our expectations, well maintained and lovely decorated. The large bedrooms with excellent beds each having a private bathroom, 2 magnificant lounges with ample space for everybody, the large kitchen/dining room with absolutely everything you need, more than enough glassware, tableware,pots and pans etc.etc.The separate well equipped gite overlooking the forest was certainly a plus and a truly wonderful quiet nest. The large secured pool and luxury pool terrace overlooking the blooming lavender and a well-tended garden, overlooking the forest and nearby fields: magical. Andy and Jacqui were always on site/reachable when necessary. In all honesty we felt really sorry to leave. Once again on behalf of all of us: a big thank you to you both, Andy and Jacqui. See you next year.

Little Treasure

Andy and Jackie are the consummate hosts, the house was beautiful, the pool amazing and the wildlife fantastic! We saw pinemartin, deer, owls and the swifts feasting over the pool several times a day is a spectacular sight. We are definitely coming back !

Beautiful home and grounds

We loved staying at this house in Pezuls. Andy and Jackie were great hosts and had thought of everything. The house is so characterful and spotlessly clean. It’s also huge!! It was a joy to spend time in the outside area area and pool. Really relaxing, quiet and surrounded by nature. We had a wonderful stay.

Great hosts and an absolute treasure

Such a wonderful rural property full of character and features, very well equipped, with a fantastic pool. Easy access to some magnificent countryside and villages with great restaurants just a short drive away. Charming area to explore and some amazing places to visit. Well placed if you wish to travel further afield. For the more adventurous, kayaking down the river is highly recommended. Our family of 8 had such a great time and we can't thanks our hosts enough. Such a beautiful place and such wonderful experience - sincerely hope we will be a back again one day.

Fantastic family holiday

Superb experience! Kind welcome by the owners. House more beautiful than expected! Swimming pool large and very nice with the temperatures between 35 and 400 degrees. Swimming in the Dordogne, walking in the neighbourhood, cycling very nice for race bike. A lot of short climbs, hilly, but after a 75 km trip you have around 800 height meters. Jeu de Boule in the garden. Visiting Sarlat! Perigeux. Thanks Andy and Jacqui. We like to come back.

Lovely week in the Dordogne countryside

A lovely old traditional house in great condition. It is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well equipped and the heated pool is large, and good for children because not too deep. The gite is also excellent. Andy and Jacqui are perfect hosts.

Superbe Maison

La Propriété est vraiment agréable et très spacieuse. C'est l'endroit idéal pour une famille car chacun peut trouver son espace. Lovely place!

Super-friendly host with a very nice property! Quiet location, with nature and countryside around. Neighboring farm is part of the charm. Everything is in top condition: very good beds, equipped kitchen, clean and modern shower, very large swimming pool, new deckchairs, etc. The area offers a lot of good restaurants within an 15-20min drive. La maison est extrêmement bien entretenue et décorée, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Les propriétaires ont pensé à de multiples attentions qui aident au quotidien. L'accueil était parfait, et les propriétaires sont complètement disponibles si besoin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison sans reproche et tout confort. Bravo et merci.

Extraordinaire

La propriété de Andy et Jacqui est remarquablement située - calme absolu- et aménagée . Le site boisé, la piscine(chauffée, avec des abords très bien aménagés pour le "farniente", les jeux et les repas sur la terrasse) sont de toute beauté. Les pièces, les chambres (toutes avec leur salle de bain et toilettes privées et une literie de qualité) sont encore plus séduisantes que sur les photos. La maison (et le gîte) sont impeccables, très propres. Les salons sont commodes et la cuisine très fonctionnelle. Andy et Jacqui sont des hôtes particulièrement agréables, très accueillants et réactifs. Nous avons passé une semaine qui a enthousiasmé notre famille.

Wonderful stay!

We've just come back from what was an exceptionally pleasant stay... so pleasant in fact that we extended it by a full week. The house and surroundings are gorgeous, just as advertised. In addition to the charming aesthetics, the inside of the house is also perfect in other dimensions: very comfortable (great beds & furniture) and highly functional (e.g. really well equipped kitchen). And most importantly the host Andy was delightful; always helpful and attentive, yet never intrusive. We very much hope to return!

A splendid holiday

A splendid holiday in a rural setting. The accommodation was superb and of the highest quality, with an excellent well tended pool. The woods were great for exploring and we enjoyed the rural walks, plus the convenience of being within easy reach of Sarlat, Bergerac and Perigeux and all that the Dordogne has to offer. Thank you Jacqui and Andy for a lovely restful holiday.

Amazing!

Beautiful, clean, every amenity you could want or need and the hosts Andy and Jacqui were so friendly, welcoming and accomodating. We are 2 families with 4 boys aged between 16 and 9 and there was more than enough room for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The pool area and terrace gave us a great social area for sunbathing, eating etc whilst still close enough to interact/monitor the children. Fantastic area to explore; close enough to the stunning town of 'Sarlat', one of France's most beautiful villages 'Lemeuil' and Bergerac (wonderful wine!!). Fantastic base for kayaking and canoeing down the Dordogne too. I think this place will become a challenge to book once people experience it. Thanks Andy and Jacqui, fingers crossed we'll be back soon x

Stunning and secluded Cottage

We wished we'd booked a fortnight but I doubt we'd have wanted to leave even then! All of 8 of us really loved our stay at this stunning cottage and had a wonderfully restful and enjoyable week. The main cottage, pool and separate gite were all immaculately presented and everything included from the linen to the pots and pans was of a really high standard. We were made to feel truly welcome by hosts Jacqui and Andy and they couldn’t have done any more for us. Thank you both very much! There’s not much nearby (aside from some farm animals!), so the peace and quiet was absolutely fantastic. Sitting out around the pool at night with a crystal clear sky was a highlight too. We’d definitely recommend a stay here and we hope to visit again before too long.
