The pictures and description provided for this Homestay somehow led us to expect a large room in the quiet countryside. The room was much smaller than anticipated based on the pictures, the supposedly quiet riverside was impacted by a busy schedule of tourist boat tours with very loud music and a primary/ infant school on the other side. Amenities were very basic: no spoons or milk for tea, very limited soap supply, no washing facilities. The promised bikes were not reliable ( brake and tyre issues) and transport to Hoi A was by taxi only. There was a good restaurant within walking distance, but we only found one which stayed open after 6.30. Not quiet enough to be peaceful and not close enough to a town to be entertaining.
