Perfect Family Getaway

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect! From ease of check in to the condo! Everything was as pictured in condo description. It was also very well equipped! Perfect location! Walking distance to stores, bakeries, restaurants and beaches! Phenomenal pool! We would definitely stay in this unit again!

Views Views Views!

Very impressive and beautiful property! Relaxing in the morning & evening on the balcony was wonderful. Can see airplanes coming in to land, yachts, sailboats, cruise ships and other recreational watercraft (bring binoculars). Can see Saba Island too. The infinity pool is awesome with a unique feature of water jets in one corner. You can get some awesome photos where the pool appears to be one with the ocean. I only wish they had an outside hot tub (there appeared to be an inside hot tub near the lap pool, but with no water in it). Also has sauna and steam rooms. The location turned out to be good with several small restaurants & bars (some with live music) within walking distance as well as 2 grocery stores (Jordan Village area, near the AUC medical school). The Maho beach area and Porto Cupecoy are both walkable as well, although a bit longer. You'll need a taxi or car to venture further. 24x7 staffed security is comforting. Our rented unit was very nice as well, although the rear balcony wasn't private as it was being used as an open access walkway to other units (temporary, due to an inoperative elevator for those units). A shower knob broke in the MBR bath, but upon reporting they were very prompt in repairing it. We could hear jets on takeoff as well as the music from Mullet Bay Beach on Saturday night, although both not real loud. Overall a great stay!

Nicest pool and lovely small uncrowded beach

The pool at The Cliff is beautiful and the staff that work the pool are wonderful. My only complaint is that they only will give you one key per bedroom, and we really needed three because we split up a lot and go off on our own. This is a Cliff policy, new from last year we believe. You should rent a car if you do not want to rely on taxis, and if you want to explore the whole island. The dinners / lunch on site at Mario’ s are very good. Communication with the Manager for the unit was very prompt,

What a vacation!!

From start to finish, we have nothing but good things to say about out stay. Check-in was very easy with ample parking. The condo owners were as friendly as one could ask for. Samantha and Giovani had the pool area looking spic and span, chairs allied, umbrella's up and drinks served if you wanted them. Pool was pristine!! Views and sunset to die for. We stayed in a unit on the 4th floor that had everything we needed. Thanks to the owners that loaned us ther space for 10 days!!

Exceeded expectations

We really loved this vacation and it started with the apartment. The ocean views are spectacular and sitting on the balcony in the morning listening to the ocean is very relaxing. Between the fully fitted kitchen and the nearby groceries we were able to eat very well.

Excellent stay at The Cliff

We had a fantastic stay in this unit. Its description was correct and had supplies to use that were so helpful. The pool area was amazing. We loved being close to the grocery store and pastry shop up the street. The beach was awesome…felt like we had a private beach. Hope to return soon!

Another Great Stay at "The Cliff"

This is our second trip to St Maarten and our second time staying at The Cliff. A beautiful property with polite and welcoming staff. A newly redesigned (post hurricane Irma) constructed pool with great ocean views from the negative edge. The grounds are very well maintained. The unit itself is large (approx 1500 sq feet) with everything you need for an awesome stay and with a great balcony for ocean viewing. Leave the doors open to get the ocean breeze and hear the ocean waves breaking on the beach below. Highly recommended..!

The bathrooms were not suitable for seniors. Water was off for a day for repairs. Elevator repairs were useable for days requiring strangers walking through our back balcony and locking doors and using AC. Electricity cut off often.

My family and I had the most amazing time in St Marteen. We loved the location of the Cliffs. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant staff and food are fabulous! Highly recommend Can’t wait to come back

Beautiful view! Feels like private beach

The views from The Cliff are amazing. The beach is isolated making it feel very private. The outdoor pool area was recently renovated and is spectacular. There is even a small children's pool. The unit and building were clean and well maintained. The spa was closed for renovations. Although we did not use the indoor pool, it was clean and would be great for lap swimming. The hot tub was new but not yet functioning. The Cliff has daily fresh bread delivery, which we highly recommend. We stayed in unit F4. The condo was clean and had all basic shower and cleaning necessities. The unit is spacious and well laid out. John, the property manager, was responsive. Stacey, the Smaart Vacation contact, was exceptionally helpful with groceries, restaurant reservations, and activities. Some minor issues: The beds and TV are probably due for an upgrade. The fitted bed sheet on the master bed did not fit the bed and would come off repeatedly throughout the night. The shower faucets are a bit finicky, going from cold to super hot very quickly, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine- Children may need a little help in setting the right temperature. Overall, I would recommend The Cliffs for couples and families. Easy walk to grocery store. Only a few restaurants walking distance but there are a lot of new restaurants and stores opening in the area.

A dream vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the cliffs. The property is beautiful. The people are very friendly and helpful and our overall experience was excellent. Updating some of the conveniences is really the only advice and recommendation I would share. For example, better beach chairs and umbrellas, better cooking materials such as new pans, lids and perhaps casserole pans. We stayed for a month and didn’t want to eat out every day. We love the fact that the laundry facilities and detergent was there for our use. Overall lovely condo. The view is spectacular and we were very happy with the location.

Beautiful & relaxing

Loved our stay! The ocean views are stunning. Loved relaxing in the beautiful infinity pool and at nearby Mullet Beach (a 5 min walk). The apartment was spotless and very spacious. A perfect vacation!
