Peaceful getaway

We really loved our stay at this cozy home! It was near the venues for our friend’s wedding ceremony and reception, and had comfortable beds and a great backyard for hanging out together! We enjoyed the beautiful nature all around, and the home had all the basics we needed for cooking meals, relaxing and enjoying shows and music. Communication with Kristen was easy and she responded promptly to messages. We would love to stay again if we’re ever back in the area.

Boulder Bonanza

My three sons and i go to a to a different college venue each year for a college football / boys weekend. This year by far was the best trip so far. The house we stayed in boulder was perfect for our trip. Located in a quiet neighborhood, three bedroom with ample space. Grocery store and breweries within walking distance and a short ride to downtown Boulder and the stadium. The bonus of the trip was hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park just a mere thirty minutes away and seeing nature that i have never experienced before

Great house great neighborhood!

We stayed in this area a couple years ago, next visit we decided to try out downtown Boulder. That was okay, but we decided we really love the quiet serenity of Gun Barrell. The house is only a 10 minute or so drive from Boulder, but the walking trails and quiet neighborhood of Gun Barrel cannot be beat. I felt 100% safe walking miles and miles of the walking trails around the home. Literature inside the house recommended the charming town of Nicot just a few minutes north. We rode our bikes there a couple of times during our visit. The house had everything we needed including a fenced yard for our dog. Our visit was timed with a major heat wave, but the house was perfectly cool and comfortable. We barbecued and enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. I also appreciate the big kitchen table for spreading out all my business papers while I worked during the warm afternoons. Kristen was a delight and always available for questions. I highly recommend.

Perfect for our stay

Nice house close to Boulder

Nice property close to restaurants and Boulder. A few minor issues with doors sticking and the bunk bed doesn't have a lot of clearance to sit upright, but otherwise very clean and a great location.

Wonderful Experience

Property was clean. Big back yard. The entire reservation, stay went without issue. This property is very well equipped....from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Great washer and dryer! Would book again in a minute.

Great option close to Boulder

We stayed here while moving our son into CU Boulder. The house was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Not super luxurious, but that was ok. The couch and beds were very comfortable. Despite the 93 degree temps, the house was surprisingly comfortable & cool. We did see a few bugs but I don't think that can be avoided. Our only suggestion is to have Netflix or Hulu as we were not able to watch movies. The host was very responsive and having the driveway for parking was also very convenient.

Perfect for our family!

This was out first time in Boulder for a family wedding. This house was the perfect fit for us. The location was perfect to so many attractions in a nice an quite neigborhood. Kristen and Eric where great host. Even offered some great suggestions for our quick trip. When we had questions with the property they where very responsive. Thank you for allowing us to stay. We had an AMAZING visit!!

Great location

Kristen and Eric’s place was the perfect hub for our family as we moved our middle son to Boulder for grad school. The house had everything we could have possibly needed and was the perfect location for our week in Boulder - close access to trails and hiking, the university, even mini golf and go carts were close by. We also loved that the house is in a neighborhood that’s a little outside of Boulder so the nights were quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a great Colorado vacation spot this is it!

Lovely house and location

The property is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The downstairs shower is a tight fit! The yard is lovely and the location perfect for attending the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. We plan to come again.

Nice area, easy access to Boulder but not in the frenzy of Boulder

We stayed here with our adult children and their significant others for 3 nights over the 4rth of July. We attended the Dead & Co. concert on July 3. The house suited our needs very well but certainly could use some attention in a few areas, such as: -salt & pepper shakers, none in house, luckily someone had left behind a container of salt that we could pour into a tiny dish to use at the table -only 3 teaspoons in the house -upgrade on cookware -- need a large pot for boiling pasta or making soup/stew and need upgraded non-stick pans -the plates and bowls are very well used, maybe time to donate to the Goodwill and upgrade to something better than what our kids used in College -although the kitchen cabinet knobs are very nice and unique, every single one needed tightening, which was frustrating -there was only 1 partial used roll of paper towels -the upstairs sliding doors on the shower need to be maintained or replaced -the outside areas are 100% neglected! Weeds are rampant, the pond is over grown and likely the source for mosquito breeding -the trash and recycle bins were overflowing when we arrived as if they hadn't been emptied in weeks On the plus side: -the outdoor seating was adequate (however the immediate view of the unmaintained back yard detracted significantly from the enjoyment) -we used the Weber grill for 2 of 3 meals -the beds were ok, some too firm for our tastes, but that is better than too soft! -the living area was comfortable -nice kitchen towels

Nice quiet place, just a little out of town

A nice quiet place a little outside of the main city of Boulder. Place was well stocked with towels and bedding although we had to search a little for the extra sheets and blankets. I liked the number of beds and the combination front door lock. The windows had a second latch that we didn't see at first, but we figured it out finally... Only suggestions I have would be suitcase racks and a little more seating at the dining table. The place is large enough to sleep 6-7 people, but the dining table was a bit small. We had an issue on the last morning with the downstairs toilet, which I assume got fixed. A slightly older place with small bathrooms, but well kept and overall a very nice place. Owners were responsive.

Perfect for our CU graduation visit

This home was perfect for our family. The beds were all very comfortable and having two full baths was a plus.The kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals. There was a fireplace that we didn't use but would be lovely during the winter. The living area was very cozy. The hosts were great in their communications with us. Great stay!

This property worked great for us. It was very comfortable and well stocked. My husband and 2 adult sons were there. We were in Boulder to visit relatives and it just took around 15 minutes to see them and get to restaurants. I took some nice walks in the neighborhood.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place

My son was recovering from knee surgery so I needed a comfortable space with easy access to the living and bedroom areas. This home has an open floor plan, and a bedroom and bath on the main level. The house is nicely decorated, clean and the furniture was very comfortable. We had space for privacy and yet it was easy for my son to hobble around on crutches. I was able to enjoy the walking trails nearby and stores were convenient. This place worked perfectly for us. The host was very helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better set-up. Thanks.
