Claudia was a lovely host and the premises were superb. Enjoyed the property and proximity to the lake. It is somewhat removed and off a busier road which makes it isolated and a solid drive to get any additional groceries or to get into town. Not an issue, but something to be mindful of. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. Big plus is the great deck and that it’s pet friendly. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Loved the cabin is right on the water and the convenient picnic table and chairs around your own private firepit. View can't be beat and waking up to the sound of the waves. Con is it is approx. 40 mins to Creston and the same to the Kootenay free ferry in the opposite direction, otherwise a very nice retreat. Claudia, the host was very responsive and welcoming.

Great cabin with amazing view. Lots of rocky beach to hound for rocks. 2 minute drive from boat launch. Host was fantastic!

Quiet lake view cabin

Beautiful log cabin with a Great Lake front view! Closely located to Creston & Nelson and Crawford Bay. Great host and easy check in process. Well equipped and we just brought our food, drinking water and portable grill as there was province wide fire bans.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake!

My husband, daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at cabin #1 from Sep 9 to 17, 2023. We had an absolutely lovely time. The cabin and contents were way more than we expected and we all felt very comfortable. The weather was perfect and the location was absolutely stunning. We swam every day and thanks to Eldon we had a fire every night. The firewood was virtually smoke free and it didn't snap. Claudia and Klaus were kind, friendly, helpful and generous hosts. Thank you so much for going above an beyond and making us feel so welcome. Honestly though the icing on the cake was Socks. He's the best vacation cat ever LOL

Ladies Get Away

The weekend was beautiful, the property was great! The laughs were many :) It was so quiet by the lake, the fire at lake side was so picturesque, and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was still a gorgeous weekend. The lake is peaceful and the cabin is in a quiet location along the beach. Claudia and Klaus were great! And so were the kids

Amazing Getaway

A great spot to stay, we knew the beach would be rocky but a savvy member of our party dug out a fire pit area in the beach an d walkway to the water on the first day. It set us up for a a great week in the 39 degree heat. The water is cold as it’s a glacier fed lake, but the last week of July it was great. A couple of hundred feet from shore, There’s remnants of an abandoned steam boat dock from the early 1900s that someone built a ladder in. It was 25 feet high and a lot of fun to jump off. A great stay, definitely bring water water shoes. This is a very rocky shore and shallow. We will be back!

Lovely lakeside cabin

Arrival information sent in advance, clean and well maintained cabin. Wonderful views over the lake which is just metres from your door! Claudia was super friendly and helpful when we couldn’t get the hot water to work and this was quickly resolved. Would definitely go back!

Secluded cabin with a beautiful view!

We stayed at this cabin in July. The view was fantastic, and it was a very quiet, secluded location. We were enamoured with the osprey nest right in front of the property and watched them all day. The king size bed in the main bedroom was super comfy, and our kids had their own twin beds, which they appreciated. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed. We were disappointed that there wasn't a BBQ, as there was one in the pictures, but one beautiful summer evening with a fire on the beach made up for it! Thank you to the owner for being so easy to contact and communicate with!
