New Balance Indoor Nationals

Very clean property comfortable state. We had a total of seven people. Communication with the property management was the best part of this experience. You cannot control what other tenants are doing in your building so it’s no fault to the property management. We had a minor situation. They immediately took care of it and had no more problems. They were very caring of things so well it was almost like staying with family.

Brothers Trip to Boston

My brothers and I came out to Boston for a handful of days to see a concert, a Sox game, and enjoy the city. This apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Spacious rooms, easy parking, clean and open spaces, it was just all around great. Host was very responsive to all our needs (didn't have but a couple). The apt was exactly as advertised. I recommend staying here if you're looking to enjoy Boston. Its proximity to the city made for very easy Uber rides in and out. Will stay here again when I come back.

Disappointed

Listing is misleading, neighborhood is rough with constant yelling, arguing and fighting in the street and parties in the neighborhood. Unit is on the third floor, above another rental managed by the same host, just be aware the second floor allows for up to 16 guests which happened to us. Loud parties, setting off smoke detectors and stomping around all night. Host was responsive but unwilling to refund so we could relocate to a hotel and argumentative about the noise telling me they were not being loud. Unit is recently remodeled but there was human hair stuck to the towels in the bathroom and anything over 5’ was not being wiped or dusted. Be careful closing doors, they all have automatic locks and the hosts don’t provide the bedroom codes unless directly asked, which made it impossible when we got locked out with no phones to contact the host. Structure is poorly insulated so the noise was unavoidable even if they weren’t having a party. House is located in Dorchester, a suburb of Boston with not much to do nearby, do your research. Poor customer service by VRBO, when we called they were unwilling to help find another location for us only offering a one night stay in a hotel which is unacceptable as this was occurring night 2 of 6. Just flat out disappointed.

Photos and descriptions lie!

Photos of this property are very deceptive, the area is in a very unsafe suburb of the city. When we reached the property, the driveway was blocked by a pickup truck and individuals that were playing loud music We were a little nervous to ask them to move. Because of that, we had to park our vehicle, outside on the road, and overnight another car scraped our vehicle causing damage. Construction for laying a gas pipe (drilling with jack hammer, many construction vehicles, and many workers) started every day in the morning by 7 am making it impossible to sleep in when you want to do that on your vacation. The owner knew of the construction and should have stated so in the property description. (can't post photos here of the constuction, unfortunately) Roads were blocked making it impossible for Uber drivers to find us on some occasions The location is not safe, as one is unable to venture out at night. Even one of the police officers we met there stated that it is an area frequented by drug dealers. In the description of the home, it says it will take 10 minutes to Fenway Park/downtown one of the locations we were going to visit a few times. In fact, it took nearly 30 minutes to 50 minutes to get to this location, wasting our valuable vacation time. Even though the home was renovated, there were pests on the kitchen counter. You have been warned, stay away from this property.

Beautiful apartment, roomy and comfortable

We had an overall good stay at this apartment. Parking was provided in the driveway however for four of the days we were there the city was working on the gas line in the street so it was noisy and difficult to access and often we had to park on the street-we got ticketed one day due to street cleaning. Not the owners fault however, but affected the comfort of our stay. Kitchen was well equipped, and the owner even brought a can opener when we found it was missing. Great to have a washer and dryer in the basement. The location is fairly close to most Boston attractions, and not too far from the airport.
