"It was a great week there. The owner has a very easy process of check in and out. Just steps away from the water and plenty of items to use. Saves you from more packing. Very clean and related atmosphere."

We were coming from a family event in another state and found that even though this house was smaller in size, it was far better stocked with well-thought out amenities and helpful items for having a great stay. (One example: The other house lacked any place to hang a towel; we marveled that this house has a half-dozen different hooks or towel bars readily available for use.) "Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring...

"We had the absolute best time! The property is right on the beach and you just can’t beat the view from your porch. Our toddlers loved being able to go back and forth throughout the day and it had all the amenities we could have asked for, even double ply toilet paper! "This is the 4th year we’ve rented this property. The four bedrooms have ample room for our daughters and sons in-law. The kids room has two big bunks with trundles that sleeps 8! It’s a fun room for the children. The beachfront backyard is the highlight! The comfy couch with shaded gazebo, outdoor dining area, grill, outdoor shower, fire pit with chairs in the sand. The view is beautiful! Low tide brings the sandbar our daily exploration for the family. Love this place!"

"BEAUTIFUL!!! This little cottage is perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed for a two night trip. The place is so spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything you might need! We enjoyed the living room space to wind down at the end of the day & pop the tv on. The walk to the beach is so quick & it’s amazing once you get there. Jay and Lisa kept us up to date and gave us all the information we needed. I can be nit picky about rentals sometimes, but this cottage was hands down the best, no issues....

"Our stay in Old Saybrook was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We loved the cozy coastal vibe, and the amenities were above and beyond—everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy beds was thoughtfully provided. "Lovely cottage on beautiful Lake Hayward. Very clean, comfortable accommodations and the view of the lake is stunning. The bathroom was newly renovated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make and serve our meals. The host was very responsive and kind. Would highly recommend this property and we hope to return soon! "

It had everything you need,,, towels, chairs, floats, sheets, incidentals .... Large screen TV in family room with all the stations...
