"SUPER private and peaceful! Exactly what we were looking for - to not have neighbors right next door or even see neighbors. It is an easy, no traffic drive to the town of Ramona and some wineries are really close. The few negatives were the shower pressure is really low, the deck gets afternoon sun and there was no umbrella or shade, and the outdoor furniture was not well maintained and had rat poop on it. Close to the lake, hiking, fishing. Just a great place, you’ll spend all day on the patio. 6 miles into Julian For pie, local shops, mines to see. Great local food at The Pub at cuyamaca lake. "Sweet cottage, perfect for our family of 4.Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of towels/blankets. Appliances look new. Didn’t do any cooking on this trip but kitchen looked well stocked with anything we would need. Cara was easy to communicate with. Check in was very easy. Good location near downtown."

"The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash...

"This is an amazing home . It was very clean, plenty of towels and blankets . The sheets and blankets smelled fresh. This home has everything you need, plus a tv in every room and games as well . The host was amazing. She would answer my text within minutes ..I would highly recommend this home and I’m sure we will be returning . Thank you "

We had everything we needed to make it the “glamping” experience we were going for. Even the pillows were comfortable (and that can sometimes be a hit or miss).
