Very special location at the top of a mountain with views for days! Some little quirks, but it all adds to the charm. I'm glad we had an AWD SUV for the drive up, though 98% of cars should be fine. Just don't take your Italian sportscar!

Beautiful mountain getaway!

The drive up the mountain is already beautiful, but getting to the top and the view overlooking the mountains is something that needs to be experienced. My husband and I loved the cabin, the home-like feel, and the ability to watch the sunset and sunrise from pretty much anywhere in the cabin!

Amazing experience!

The cabin is located in a beautiful area, it had really nice amenities, and every little thing I needed was in there. I might just have to go back sooner than later! The view was more than worth the drive up the hill. Loved it!

Incredible Getaway!

The views from this cabin are incredible. You literally wake up with a full view of sunrise in front of you. Super cozy with the wood burning stove going. Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved it and already looking forward to staying there again.

Great little scenic cabin

The view is awesome and it is still pretty close to things in Julian. You may not want to make the drive up to the cabin at night since with the beautiful remote views comes some rough roads, but totally doable. Enjoyed my stay!

Beautiful Location

We came up for a 4 night stay, and it was amazing. Sunday and Monday we spent the day in Julian. But we kept wanting to go back to the cabin to relax with the beautiful view. Everything you could want and need for a vacation in the mountains. Only caution is that a car with 4x4 would be wise, as our little sedan had a little trouble getting in and out of the property.

Better than expected

Spent one night for my wife's birthday and she was thrilled. The cabin has everything you need and the view is amazing. We walked the back roads and watched the sunset from the other side of the mountain and the sunrise next to the cast iron stove from inside the next morning. Just what we needed to unwind after the x-mas holiday. The road up the mountain was just as fun, I recommend a suv or truck. We'll be back

Beautiful cabin, beautiful views

The cabin itself is lovely. It looks just like the pictures. It was clean and felt secure. It was definitely secluded. I was not prepared for the drive though. I should have read between the lines about the elevation change. Steep streets and switchbacks. The dirt road portion worried me a bit, but at least I have a SUV, so scraping the underside of my car wasn't on the top of my list. The driving instructions could have been clearer. We had to make some educated guesses on the way in. This would be a difficult drive in the dark or in the rain. We tried to reverse the directions when we left, but took a wrong turn and ended up leaving using a different route that was actually much easier. Please don't get me wrong. I definitely recommend the property! I just want any city slickers (like me) reading this to gain from my experience!

The pictures do not do the view from this lovely cabin any kind of justice - absolutely stunning! The cabin is warm, cozy and charming. It has everything you need for a lovely getaway. Wonderful experience!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Amazing views! Loved our stay. Small space is used very well. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view and stargazing at night. The curvy road up to the cabin can be tricky. Just go slow. No AC but it stayed cool at night. The first night we heard some critter noises throughout the night which is to be expected up in the mountains. Second night we turned on the fan for some white noise and it was all good! Overall it was a lovely stay!

Rustic and private cabin

This was a well furnished, remote, and cozy cabin high on the mountain side. The views were beautiful and private. Dana was very helpful and made sure our experience was the best it could be. Would rent again.

Peaceful and Pet Friendly

This is a lovely cabin, with everything you need for an escape. Far from everyone, with a beautiful mountain view, this is a great place to share with your dog and family! Small, but super cozy. This was our second visit and we will visit again soon.
