House is no where near clean nor bright like the pictures. First of all the chinking between the logs in many spots was loose and out of the joints in the logs and open to see outside thru the openings!Spiders where hanging from ceiling, cobwebs everywhere, chip munk/red squirrel chewed nuts where inside the kitchen window sill, on the inside of the window. Spiderwebs where in all areas of the windows, beams, rafters, furniture. While looking for plugs to plug lights in and looking under tv stand there was so much dirt and nasty stuff under there that hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Scared a mouse out of somewhere and it ran across living room floor and down a hole in floor near tv stand! OmgSeveral lights in the house didn’t even work or had cords that had been cut and taped back together, one cord only had 1 prong on the plug end!The furniture is very old and disgusting, that we wouldn’t even sit on it, including exterior deck furniture. Deck did have 2 plastic chairs that where new in last 10 years or so. Deck hadn’t been cleaned looks like for years. Laundry was under the house open to outdoors, on a dirt floor so unbelievable!The sidewalk was moss covered and very slippery as it had started to rain before we arrived, with no hand rail and quite steep downward to the house, with out steps. Leaves and such piled up in the roof valley and tree debris on the roof. Very poor maintenance We stayed for about 10 min before leaving the property and booked a hotel!

There is a fairly steep 30-40 yard walk to the front door with no hand rail until near the end. The listing did not warn us about this. My husband is 80 years old and he fell. Next, one of the LR skylights was open and it rained hard with rain pouring in. We couldn’t figure out how to close it. Next we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the tv. Pressing power on the remote did nothing. Next, we killed a mouse our first night there. Vacasa was useless. They said they would send someone out the next day around 9:00. We waited until 11:15 and needed to leave. I texted them with the above list and said I would leave the key under a rock by the door. When we returned , someone had left us some mousetraps but that was it. No doubt he had not been told of our text. I think they are too big with the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. The view of the water was lovely and the fireplace was enjoyable but would we return? I don’t think so; very disappointing.

Great stay is a RUSTIC CABIN “

Great location, beautiful views the electric features needs “ Attention “ to prevent an accident. ( floor lamp next to chimney, lamp outside bathroom (hallway) brown lamp in bookcase doesn’t work. Outdoor grill needs replacement parts, new burner on the right side. Everything else great !

Rustic and interesting cabin

Interesting old cabin in a pretty location. The kitchen was well supplied with all cooking items we needed. Furnace worked great, and the fireplace was very nice as well. Plenty of space. Only downside was the first night was breezy and one bedroom had some gaps in the walls where the chinking had fallen out--a wee bit drafty. All in all, a fun place though.
