"We asked for a ground floor room, were told we would be given one, and were put in a second floor room. The external stairs to the room were steep and not at all recommended for anyone suffering from knee issues. The room itself was fine, although there was no iron (which I only mention because I would've liked to use it, not a huge deal!). Microwave and fridge and crockery and utensils were great. The basin was outside the ensuite and doubled as the kitchen sink. It was quite large and perfect...

"I really want to give 5 stars for this place- but unfortunately…,,,,The location and the house is stunning! But the let downs was the cleanliness. The spa was disgusting and had broken glass by the gate. Nearly every piece of cutlery, tray, plate and cup was dirty. No hand soap or dishwashing liquid. The first night no hot water. The fire pit is on a side of a hill- no chance for confit- and the house is 12 people- 3 double rooms 1 room with 4 bunks and a downstairs with 2 sofa beds. But no one...

"It was close to everything, next to the river, around the corner from the pub, cafe, and general store. It was a beautiful time of the year with the autumn colours. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We loved our stay and would recommend it. "

"We had a nice stay at Jamieson cottages over a long weekend. The cottage has a cute rustic feeling to it, fitting with the area but don't expect 5 star finishes. It's in a great location in Jamieson, walking distance to the pub and river. "
