"The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

"We stayed at Maggie and David’s cottages for 3 nights in April, with our daughters aged 10 and 14 and all had a great time. "Mark the owner is absolutely lovely and so helpful! The photo's don't do it justice, the unit is even more beautiful and the surrounding bush is very peaceful. "Although the property seems smaller than anticipated, it was still comfortable. It can do well with larger indoor spaces as the rain over the last couple of days confined us so. "2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!"

"Beautiful position amongst the trees in Sawmill Settlement. The house is a really cool design and build and bathrooms are lovely. The kitchen is modern and very well stocked with utensils and kitchen equipment. I meant to leave a note for the owner that it appears queen bed in room without the ensuite may have broken slats on the bed as the couple in that bed said they kept falling into gap so might be worth checking. Would be lovely base for hiking too."
