  • Located in the heart of the Luberon Park, on the Claparèdes plateau, in the middle of a park with holm oaks and olive trees of 6000 m2, this charming house offers an ideal haven of peace to recharge your batteries. It enjoys a panoramic view of the valley of the Combe de Lourmarin and in the distance of the Sainte Victoire mountain. <br>Its private infinity pool (size: 5 x 12 m; secured by an infrared alarm and a barrier; wide stone slab deck; in service from mid-May to mid-September) integrated into an old terraced wall, in the shade of the holm oaks, allows you to escape the summer heat. Two bories remind us of the historical frequentation of these places. One of the five rooms has air conditioning. The accessibility of the accommodations are not adapted to PRM.

We had a wonderful two weeks in Provence at this lovely property. Our kids and grands joined us and we loved having family meals around the big dining table. Lots of thoughtful touches - a box filled with games - Monopoly in 2 languages, plenty of straw hats to shield against the sun, and we all learned to play pétanque. Fascinating art throughout the house and a serious stereo system that impressed the family techies. A magical setting overlooking the hills. The driving is on small country roads. Brigette and Gilles were prompt in solving any maintenance issues.

Exploring Provence

We had a lovely stay in the house - it was easy to find and Giles the housekeeper helped us settle in and manage all the workings of the house. The house is really well equipped for a family gathering, and we loved the various places to sit outside and admire the amazing view of the Luberon park. It is in a great location to explore many parts of the region and we would love to come back again.

Great location to visit neighboring hill towns of Provence.

The property is awesome. The flowers, olive trees, cherry trees(YUM) couldn't be better. We made some memorable dinners form our Market shopping in the nearby small towns. Pool was great to cool down after a long day traveling. Really if you are looking for a long stay you would love this place!

Beautiful property with great views and privacy

We spent a wonderful week enjoying the views, the pool and nearby villages. Marc was very responsive and friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. I would love to come back again.

WOW!

If you are thinking of staying here all i can say is do yourself a favour and book it. It is absolutely unreal Everything you could ever need and want in a house and area. We travelled with 6 adults and 5 children aged between 7 and 2 Something for everyone The house has everything you need and then some. It was absolutely stunning I will not hesitate in returning and telling everyone i know to book

Perfect Provencal

We had a fantastic stay. The house was perfect, and the owner Marc could not have been nicer and more helpful. He even ordered my favorite coffee maker for our visit! Gilles, the property manager was attentive and very helpful. The house is perfectly situated, with a great view and very comfortable. We could not have been happier.

What a Gem

A very special property that made a family holiday that was many years in the making very special. Marc is a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Gilles (the property caretaker) is a friendly and welcoming host too - though if you don't speak French, you'd better get fast with your translation tools. The town of Bonnieux is breathtaking, as are many of the smaller villages in the area. The property was perfect for our group - grandparents, parents and young kids. With great patios with views, swimming pool, kids playground, and shady hammocks. We can't wait to make it back.

Charming villa with spacious grounds and great views

Lovely setting for a gathering of family and friends. Very comfortable interior with large elegant primary BR, great second BR with attached room for 2 kids, and functional 3rd and 4th BRs (though not as roomy or elegant as the first 2). Very comfortable common areas including adequate kitchen stocked with plates and flatware for a crowd. Beautiful grounds with multiple seating areas and great views of the hills (pool closed for the season during our visit so can’t comment). Extremely helpful owner and property manager (the latter speaks only French); they went above and beyond to help us out of a jam regarding our rental car. Only caution: be aware it is not really walkable to town.

Superb location & facilities - but outside needs more care

The property has terrific views, a great swimming pool for small kids, a well-equipped kitchen and extensive grounds. Only one room, a bedroom, has air conditioning and the lower bedrooms can become very stuffy in the heat. The garden is full of odd damaged items which can’t be used. It could do with sorting out.

Beautiful setting with a rustic charm

This property is truly beautiful and provides the quintessential Provencal setting! It has amazing views of the hills from multiple patios as well as the infinity pool. It is extremely private as well and in a great location. Bonnieux is a 5 minute drive from the house as well as other hilltop towns and markets. There were some mishaps at the beginning of our stay that were resolved as quickly as possible by the owner and property manager. They were both extremely responsive to our messages which was very appreciated. One small note is that 2 bedrooms are connected so you have to walk through one to get to the other (good for a family with small children) and also not all of the bathrooms have toilets. The toilets were usually in a separate room which might be common in Europe. Also, if you don't speak French, be prepared to use google translate for communicating with the property manager. He is a lovely person but does not speak any English. It was difficult to communicate with him directly which was particularly hard when some questions came up. In no way however, would that deter me from staying here again. I highly recommend this home with family/friends for a relaxing vacation in Provence. We will have memories to last our lifetime with this trip.

Beautiful, Rustic Farmhouse for perfect family stay

Communication prior to the stay was excellent and prompt. Check in with Gilles was a little difficult because he speaks no english and we speak very little French. I followed up with Marc afterwards and cleared up some confusion. We stayed in November so we couldn’t really take full advantage of all the property had to offer like the pool, outdoor seating, grill etc. This would be a great place for a family to relax for an extended vacation in the summer. You won’t catch a direct sunset but the sunrise is fantastic. The showers had great water pressure (we only used 3 bathrooms) and the beds were firm but comfortable. Obviously we can’t speak to the air conditioning but the floor heating kept the house at a comfortable temperature. The TV and wifi worked well - we watched a movie together every evening. The kitchen would have everything you’d need to cook - although we did not do so. We tried to go to Restaurant Cesar and Terassa in Bonnieux without a reservation for 3 people (we had been told by a friend that November was very quiet and reservations were unnecessary) but we were rudely turned away at both places. We would not patronize these places if we returned. . Le Sade in Lacoste was delicious and welcoming. The house is easy to find with GPS, has nice gathering spaces and the washer and dryer were an important feature since we were picking up our daughter from a semester at SCAD. It’s about a 12 minute drive to SCAD in Lacoste.

Hâvre de paix

Le lieu est enchanteur, une vue à couper le souffle. La maison est très agréable et convient parfaitement à plusieurs personnes sans se gêner les unes les autres.

Un coin de paradis, magnifique vue sur le Luberon !

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans la maison de Marc. La maison est un petit coin de paradis, avec tout le confort espéré, un magnifique jardin où les enfants ont passé la semaine à jouer et faire des cabanes. Pendant que les parents profitaient des différents espaces aménagés pour le repas, l'apero, le petit déjeuner ! Mention spéciale pour la literie parentale ! Merci pour votre accueil.

Villa typique pour séjour en famille

Belle bâtisse en pierre typique de la région et d'une taille confortable située dans un beau parc de chênes idéal pour les enfants avec un très beau panorama, plusieurs espaces extérieurs et salons de jardins. Nous avons regretté la piscine froide dès le 13 août qui n'est pas ensoleillée tout l'apres midi en cette saison, une négligence sur l'entretien et la présentation de la maison, et un aménagement/décoration beaucoup trop chargé à notre goût. L'ensemble restant correct nous avons passé un bon séjour avec 4 couples et 4 enfants en bas âge. Le propriétaire a été très disponible et à l'écoute de nos suggestions.

Beautiful location.

This house offers a very warm and hospitable environment. It’s location is absolutely wonderful. Very private with great views. We loved the pool and the outside areas. Especially the deck. Sun or shade, it is all available. And inside it felt great too. As we love to cook we were happy to find a very complete kitchen with all the necessary utensils. On arrival Corinne met us In the village. A good thing as we may not have found the property on our own. The area around Bonnieux is beautiful with many villages and other places to visit within reasonable distance. With this house your holiday can only be successful.

Oasis de quiétude et de beauté dans le Lubéron

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette propriété superbe. Que dire de plus que sur l'annonce ? L'endroit est exceptionnellement calme, avec une vue sublime, propice au repos et à la contemplation. Plein de petits coins pour les repas et les aperos. De l'ombre un peu partout. La maison est parfaitement équipée, Bonnieux à 5 min en voiture et une multitude des choses à faire et visiter dans les environs. Communication rapide et efficace. Très bien reçus à notre arrivée. Rien à dire, nous reviendrons sûrement !

Une semaine printanière dans le Luberon

Nous avons profité de la maison, de son jardin et son barbecue. La maison est dans un endroit calme, sur le plateau des Claparedes au bout d’ un chemin, loin de la route et avec une vue magnifique sur le Luberon. Les seuls bruits sont les chants des oiseaux. La maison est conforme aux photos, bien arrangée avec de la place pour tout le monde. La cuisinière lacanche et les divers robots électroménagers permettent de cuisiner avec plaisir. Il y a beaucoup d’ ustensiles de cuisine à disposition. Nous avons aussi profité des différents espaces du jardin pour l’ apéro et aussi pour manger tous les midi. Nous avons aimé nous promener dans la campagne autour de la maison au milieu des chênes verts et des bories. Le village de Bonnieux est joignable par chemin à pied en 20 min. Finalement, Nous avons aussi apprécié comment Marc a répondu très efficacement à toutes nos questions techniques. Notre séjour était parfait et nous y reviendrons volontiers à l occasion.
