"I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. "

"I booked my stay at serene resort online, approximately 4-5 days in advance, using an online travel company. I called approximately one hour before arriving at the hotel for my scheduled stay and the manager told me he canceled my reservation. The manager had very limited Ability to communicate in English. I arrived to the resort only to discover the manager refused to rent me a room and said he canceled my reservation. He then sent me to another hotel where I had to pay for a room. The next...

"If you like to have your own quiet time this is the place. The Hotel owner and the manager (suraj) was very nice and very cooperative. Though the property does not have any Room heater we managed the cold night with 2 blankets!
WiFI was really good and phone signal was fine. The hotel was on the valley and beautiful view. We have enjoyed our stay."

Although the building is in a traditional and atmospheric style, it has been very well renovated and maintained.
The breakfast, featuring homemade bread, was excellent in both quality and...

"We ended up having to extend our stay due to illness and the staff (particularly the two ladies at the front desk) were super helpful and flexible. The food was very good, including room service which we used a lot as we recovered. The location is very nice as are the views. The staff were also great with housekeeping items such as tissues and water.
Our only minor issue was with the state of the shower / tub as it is due for a refresh. But, overall, very minor. Highly recommend this hotel.."

"The staff are super nice and very helpful. The food for both supper and the breakfast buffet was very good. The view from the room is superb. A few minor issues: 1) the bathroom had a bit of an odor after showering; 2) my wife ended up taking lukewarm showers as the hot water went out during the day although it was fixed right away after calling the front desk; and 3), probably not the hotels fault but the WiFi was a bit unstable. However, these were all minor and did not at all detract from a...
