"No where in the Expedia booking or the hotel website did it mention that the hotel rooms didn't have bathrooms. They are shared. We waited 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in, and she told us nothing about the resort. Now there appears to be a credit card issue with multiple charges and credits hitting my account. Would not recommend this place."

"The Sandbar is being renovated. Only half of it is done. There is no check-in or no one to actually speak to. If there is a problem we had to talk with the workers. The outside bar is not set up yet. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Having said that, the room was very nice and clean. The outdoor space was nice and functional, good view of the lake. They did have an indoor area with couches and a couple game tables. It will be a really nice place when it is complete!"

"Our first day we came back in the evening and our room was not cleaned including no clean towels. The owner was on the premises the next morning. We requested an adjustment to our bill for the lack of service. He refused and said we should have called it to his attention during working hours the prior day so they could come in and clean. We told him we were out all day. He was neither apologetic nor responsive to our request for a credit."

"Cuando en una situación como la pandemic actual tienes un mensaje de obligatorio mascarilla y te encuentras todos los días clientes y trabajadores sin mascarilla o con ella mal puesta en el interior del hotel, falta de limpieza (en un hotel pet friendly deberían ser más exigentes), y el porta rollo de papel higiénico roto, etc. No, no inspira confianza. A pesar de que Charlevoix como pueblo nos gustó mucho nos fuimos anticipadamente. "
