Family Wedding

We enjoyed everything about this place. The views were magnificent. The home was very spacious, clean and accommodating . We were a family of 10 from New Jersey attending a wedding At The Falls Of Blue Ridge and this home was just a short drive to the venue. The host answered any questions we had in a timely manner . We highly recommend staying here!

Great layout/views, needs TLC

Great layout, views, and the playground for kids is super convenient. The property needs some TLC and a deep cleaning though. The counters and cabinets were sticky, sheets stained/hairs in bed, playground is on its last leg, and broken furniture throughout.

Women's ministry retreat

We stayed for the weekend for our Women's retreat. Check in was super easy and the location was amazing! Plenty of seating for worship/message that we did on the porch for 17 ladies. Game room was fun and had lots of different things.

Great views.

House was roomy and had great views. We did, however, experience some difficulties:- toilet on mail floor had lots of problems. Sometimes wouldn’t flush, filled slowly.- sink downstairs dripped constantly - hot tub wasn’t full, so periodically spewed out water. Made lots of noise. - had only 5 coffee cups for a house that sleeps 20.

A great family weekend

This was the perfect cabin for our Tenth Annual Family Weekend. From 70 something’s to teenagers to a two year old - it was perfect for everyone. We are already considering a return next year! Thank you for sharing.

Great Home for a Large Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Ohana Lodge! The mountain views were amazing and we had plenty of room for our large family. The fenced backyard was ideal for our toddlers and dogs. Would love to return during warmer weather to enjoy the wraparound porches.

Beautiful cabin and view is amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ohana Lodge! The house is beautiful and there was something for everyone to enjoy! The view is amazing especially sunrises and sunsets. You have to visit Mercier Orchards and buy some of their donuts! Delicious! The host was very quick to respond to our messages! It was a wonderful trip with family!

Blue Ridge Family Christmas

We planned our annual.family vacation. A mixture of 3 families. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holiday. With 11 of us at all ages, we found fun and excitement around each corner.

Lovely home on the mountain top.

Lovely property high on the mountain, great views.Adaquatly appointed for our large family.Make sure you report any damage found before you go to sleep the first nite.Cleaners could use some retraining. Overall would recommend.

Majestic view; dirty cabin

The view is amazing. We have been staying in the area for years and this is one of the best views we have seen. Sunrise directly in front of the deck with the mountains. Truly picturesque. Unfortunately, the cabin was not clean. Dirty dishes, counters, floors, etc. Labels threatening the deposit for all types of things. Three different labels on the fireplace instructing to not touch things. When the fireplace didn’t work according to the instructions, the response was to touch what the labels said not to touch. Communication wasn’t quick. Before we arrived we received messages that we would get codes at certain times and it wasn’t accurate. Not a big deal, but was not accurate communication. Then, we messaged about the fireplace but had to wait until the next day to get an answer regarding how to operate it. (We knew how, but everything was threatening the deposit if you touched it.) Kitchen is definitely not a high end kitchen. The oven took forever to heat up and took several hours to bake potatoes. There were no kitchen towels or cleaning scrubs except one old dirty sponge. Not well stocked with towels. WiFi was very poor. We all ended up using our phones as hotspots and then would download a movie and try to watch it that way. Didn’t get normal antenna channels so couldn’t watch the default sports college ball. Maybe there was a way, but since communication was slow and we had to buy batteries for the remote anyway, we didn’t ask.

Our 2nd Time at this location

We have enjoyed this place two times now. We love the location the view and the property. Rocky the owner is very quick to respond if you have any questions. Pet friendly with a fenced in backyard to keep dogs from running off.

Family Vacation / Elopement

We had ages 8months to 70years. House was large and perfect for our family gathering however communication was not good and cleaning needed help. It was stated they had a stroller on property we did not pack one and there was no stroller. This was a disaster. In addition there was copious amounts of dust throughout cabin and vent in bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. I have allergies and was sick the entire weekend. In addition there were two rotten rocking chairs which needed to be removed and were still there. This is in addition to there was a broken chair which was next to house when we pulled up. Swing set is good for young kids but my 8 year old got on it and the whole thing looked unsteady. She weighs about 45lbs. Also at first I thought it was motion cameras then found out there were ALOT of cameras on property. I understand the ones on parking and ring doorbell but the ones on back porch seemed invasive not sure about the play ground if that was camera or lights. The lighting on the porch was terrible only two dim lights on each side. The lights on banister didn’t work. Unfortunately there was not a big moon in the time we were there so at night porch was hard to navigate especially for people who don’t see well in the dark.

Weekend stay

We enjoyed the cabin very much. I would definitely make mention to other gusts that the road to the cabin was hard to get up in a car after it had rained. There was some cosmetic damage to the floors and other areas but mostly just basic wear and tear. The layout of the cabin was great and the view was wonderful. I would recommend it to others.

The cabin was the perfect size for our group. Plenty of area for the kids to play and the adults to relax. Can’t say enough nice things, the host was extremely quick to respond to all questions and extremely accommodating.
