As a group of 5 friends, we've stayed in lots of houses across Scotland over the years & this one was absolutely perfect in every single way! Lovely large rooms & plenty bathrooms, which meant we weren't tripping over each other. The kitchen was so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The welcome basket was such a special touch too. Normally rental properties are plainly decorated but every room was filled with colour & pretty artwork, and it made it such a joy to live in. It was in a perfect location for walking into Blairgowrie too. In every shop we went into (and we did a LOT of shopping!), we were welcomed by such friendly people. Must make mention of the Wee Coffee Shop and also The Causerie - both completely different styles of cuisine/offerings but every plate was outstanding. The service was top notch in both. We were all so sorry to leave Invermay when our trip ended. There was a problem with Vrbo during my booking process and I had to contact Craig (the host). He was very helpful and explained where the issue lay (Vrbo's security systems) so he put me mind at ease quickly, which I greatly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable, contact to the owner always fast and attentive. We felt very welcome. Especially the aga was a very interesting exciting. We loved to cook with it. The house is located in very nice landscape and it takes only a half hour to enjoy the highlands or the sea. Thanks for all.

Five sisters stayed here together. We enjoyed the location, the walkability and the comfort of this lovely house. The kindness and consideration of the owner was much appreciated. We hope to return many times over the next couple of years.

the best VRBO experience I have had...

This house is roomie, clean and so comfortable. We were 5-6 people at most times and had plenty of space. There were lots of supplies in the house and everything worked well. Lovely outdoor space too! The standout of this rental however, was the owner. Craig was so helpful from day one. He suggested things to do, did research for me and offered great insight regarding Scotland. He was a great, friendly communicator. The only drawback is that the town seems a bit depressed and there's not much shopping or sightseeing there. We also weren't overly pleased with dining options in town but we made do. On the positive side, the town is in a great location from Edinburgh and makes travel for day trips really easy. I HIGHLY recommend this home.

Excellent property

Invermay met all our needs and more. We were a 4 generation family group going to the area to catch up with friends and family we hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. On arrival we found Invermay to be spotlessly clean, tidy and very well equipped. We loved our stay there and wish we had booked another week.

Brilliant place for Christmas

Family had a brilliant time. Kitchen was magic for cooking. Hosted a dinner for 10 easily, with no shortage of cooking pots, pans, implements, dishes and cutlery. Beds rooms were great, spacious and spotless. Living room with fire was awesome. Comfortable and warm during cold snowy days. Would recommend and love to stay again.

Amazing Home in Blair

Had a wonderful stay at Invermay. The home is very well appointed and was immaculately clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Sad to have to leave, but had a memorable visit.

Invermay is a beautiful house, clean and so well equipped with many extras.

This was a great house with everything we could have asked for and more. A special home from home. The local area was great for us for both walking and golfing. Fantastic weather added to our experience but I’d love to return in the winter too, so much to do.

A lovely house and garden

We spent a fantastic week at Invermay, it’s a beautifully presented house and really well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. We found it exceptionally clean, and absolutely loads of room for our family group of 7. The garden is a real gem, the summer months must be lovely, the summer house was cosy enough in April. Blairgowrie is a nice town with lovely riverside walk and a great local chippy near the bridge. It’s a great location for exploring the Cairngorms and lots of places are within easy reach, Braemar and Balmoral make a great day out. We would certainly like to come back the next time we are in the area.

WOW ,absolutely amazing place to stay

Invermay is absolutely amazing. The best let we have ever stayed in, it's huge! And had everything you could need and then some. You literally only need food. Every cooking item ,serving dish, condiments you could ever need. Lovely street too, really big garden with beautiful summer house. Large garage with football table, and spare freezer, spare fire wood for the amazing log burner in rhe sitting room, this was so cosy after a busy day in the snow in the mountains. The bedrooms are all really big, we used the study as a 4th bedroom, all so cosy with nice warm bedding, really comfortable beds and pillows, and a radio too along with sofa and cute Teddy on every one. There are more games you could ever need, we loved games nights, also q book case full of brilliant books in every room and landing. Also toys, stationary, more games. Livingroom very spacious and comfortable, and another games cupboard with plenty of dvds. Free view, sky Q box too. The kitchen...wow...the Aga kept the place warm and we read the book so we could cook on it. Cooks food to perfection. The dining room is large too ,we had lovely family meals in here. 3 bathrooms was a great help, the baths are big too and lovely shower. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back again in a couple of years. I have nothing negative to report about our stay because it really was just perfect. Thankyou so so much.

Christmas Get Together

We all had a fabulous stay at Invermay, walking and exploring the Blairgowrie area. The property was above and beyond our expectations, with everything we needed for a perfect few days. It was spotlessly clean, homely, warm and cosy (storm Arwen graced us with it’s presence). We couldn’t fault Invermay or our hosts, who were available at the end of a phone if they were needed.
