"The manager/owner was very nice and introduced him self. The apartment was modern and homely, however after an hour of being at the property I noticed my feet were filthy dirty, when the manager knocked I did ask for a mop he said it would be an extra charge to give it a clean, after receiving the mop i went to use to to realise it was already filthy dirty and unable to use. "Do NOT book these apartments at Aurum House . I received an email stating that I would receive info re carparking 24 hours before my stay and "other" check in details approx 1 hour before the check in time of 3pm. I hadn't had any info sent to me so just after 2pm I sent a message asking for the check in info.... with no reply. I waited and waited and eventually rang the host. It went to voicemail. So I called the other number that was on the listing on the Hotels.com website. It was aswered by...

"An excellent place to stay as I needed somewhere with the comforts of home to use as an office for a few days working away. Everything was there that I needed to cook, eat, shower and sleep while it was just a short walk to the tram stop for transport up and down the coast. Also in a quiet part of town but close enough to get to the noisier parts if you wanted - just a 20 minute walk to Blackpool North station so ideally placed for me."

"Property in general was very good. Some more utensils and a frying pan would be useful additions to the kitchen. Communication from the host was a bit lacking too, I didn't get the entry codes until 10 minutes before check in. It states 3 days on the app. I messaged them several times but received no reply back, so I had to call them on the day we were travelling up, as I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get into the property."
