We went 4 wheeling most of our stay. The host was very accommodating! Pleasant to work with. The cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. Very nice stay for all of us. Many trails to ride in the area!

Brian's place was great! My group of 25 was comfortable at Tall Pines Lodge and made great memories over the weekend. The hot tub was frequently used and my group loved it. One minor problem is the sand the property is on. We understand that it is hard to keep the sand from entering the house, so we we're not complaining about it. Moreso, just a heads up to future guests. My group loved the property either way and Brian is a great host!

Very conducive for a group retreat

The serene place, ample space and comfy beds - very fit for group retreat. Kitchen is great, utensils and kitchen appliances are available. Many clean towels to use.

Just what we were looking for

There was plenty of room. It would be perfect for a family reunion. Brian checked on us to make sure everything was ok or to ask if we needed anything. We are a couple in our 70’s and had another couple about the same age and 2 couples in their 60’s. We toured the area and played games. Did not use the hot tub because it rained most of the time. The only problem we had was getting in the gate. Not easy for old fingers ( a combination lock with numbers you had to roll) and no light after dark.

Girls get away

Private get away, lots of beds and nice big dining room table. Hot tub was a nice relaxing option. Downside was that we had issues with WiFi, good communication by owner to try fixing it but he still couldn’t get it (and cell signal was spotty). There was also a few spiders and webs in the basement bathroom that could’ve been removed.

Stunning views and an amazing family gathering

We absolutely loved our stay on Serenity Lake. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room and outdoor space. Wonderful lake for fishing and swimming. Saw deer, turtles, snakes, and rabbits. Very private. Enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Brian was a great host.

Relaxing family weekend

We greatly enjoyed our family weekend at the cottage. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and the lake was perfect for many hours of water fun. The house fit our large group comfortably. Thank you!

Family reunion

Had a reunion with most of our children. It was a very nice relaxing time. My husband and I loved watching all the kids and grandkids enjoy the lake, swimming, kayaking, etc. right from the front porch. we had perfect weather. Fishing was ok, didn’t catch many though. The lake was smaller than we expected but still great for canoeing, kayaking, etc. it was nice that they had the water toys (kayakes, splash pad, canoes, etc, available for us to rent. My grandkids loved seeing the snacks!

Weekend at Tall Pines Lodge

We had a family graduation out in Wisconsin and I needed a place to fit our kids and grandkids! Was so happy to find this cute place on the lake with plenty of room for everyone to sleep! Everyone enjoyed the space, using the hot tub and the beautiful view! I liked that no one else could get into the property as it was gated. We so wish we could have stayed longer! Our host were amazing and Brian was reachable by text if we had any questions! Would love to come stay longer in the future!

Family Christmas

Hatfield was a central location for three generations to meet and celebrate Christmas. Brian was very accommodating; the home was decorated for Christmas including a tree. The hiking trail around the lake was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your snake collection and for the wonderful conversation.

Family Fun

We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and time in the hot tub. It was a peaceful spot to enjoy the sports plus quiet times of reading books and making s'mores over the fire
