Our stay was great. The place was very clean, cozy, private and comfortable. Everything we needed (including for our dog) was provided. The outdoor area is very relaxing. from the hot tub to the firepit. The owners thought of everything. Would definitely stay there again.

Well appointed, very clean and cute. Great walkability to town and proximity to all things Asheville. We enjoyed our stay with our pup.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. In a great location which was convient for town and hiking. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic and look forward to coming back soon!

SECOND trip to the cottage

We LOVE staying at this cottage! The location couldn't be any better! The host made our stay so nice!! A few holiday decorations, very pet friendly, super clean, delicious coffee, and a perfect weekend to enjoy holiday festivities in town.

We are already looking forward to our next visit to Black Mountain and plan to stay with Intown Cottages. The home is perfectly located and well appointed. It’s comfortable and has wonderful amenities. The hosts were wonderful communicators and very welcoming!

Great location!

The rental was in a fantastic location!! The house was great with nice touches all around. We would highly recommend it and plan on making many trips back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Black Mountain at this adorable home. The location was so convenient...we walked almost everywhere! The home was extremely clean, very well organized and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very communicative and provided very detailed information including lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do.We especially loved the back patio area with the hot tob and sauna. We enjoyed spending time out there each evening. Thanks for a wonderful stay in lovely Black Mountain!

This was a fantastic house! Great location within walking distance to everything in black mountain. Very well appointed instructions throughout the home with great recommendations for all things in the area. Very clean and warm and cozy. They left a welcome basket with some local finds, very nice touch. And the sauna and hot tub were very clean and felt amazing after long days hiking. Would highly recommend!

Everything was very nice and clean. Communication with the host before, during and after the stay was superior! We came to Blavk Mountain to attend the Blues Festival…..and the house was easy walking distance to downtown. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent Location

Wonderful place to stay within minutes of so many unique local places to visit. The rental was clean with nice furniture and several amenities to add to it's comfort. Additionally, it's a very reasonable drive to visit Asheville, Hendersonville, or take a hike up Catawba Falls. We had such a great time taking in the area... so much to keep you busy or relax at your own pace.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We feel so lucky that we found this place to stay! It was the perfect mountain getaway for our honeymoon! Easy check in, great amenities, walking distance to everything! We can’t wait to come back! Hosts were very responsive and the house was clean and comfortable!

Convenient location with great amenities

Cute house (duplex) with a smart layout and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds, pillows, linens, towels, starter coffee. We loved relaxing in the hot tub enjoying the stars after a day of hiking.

Beautiful location in a wonderful town

This house was wonderful, everything was comfortable and clean, almost like staying at a private hotel. The hot tub was amazing. And I love Black Mountain so much, I highly recommend spending a few days there.

Perfect location, well-appointed!

Chris provided a perfect stay for our family while we were in town for a wedding. Location is great hear wonderful restaurants and establishments. Will return!

Weekend trip before camp drop-off

We stayed at one of the cottages the weekend before dropping our kids off at camp. The place was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Would recommend it for anyone visiting the Black Mountain/Asheville area….really lovely.

The perfect find!

This townhouse is a gem! It's lovely, clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and even has views of the mountains...not to mention the amazing location right in town and close to everything! Chris is no-doubt the best host we've ever had: organized, responsive, and helpful with great, detailed recommendations about the area. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This was our second stay here and it was every bit as wonderful as last year. The cottage is well appointed and the best of all worlds - private, awesome view, hot tub, and within walking distance of all that Black Mountain has to offer. Wonderful In Town Retreat

Great location - so close to everything. But the cabin was so thoughtfully equipped and designed that it was hard to leave. This was not just a place to sleep after daily adventures…it was a home that allowed you to relax and recharge. Highly recommend. I miss it already.

Family getaway

Fantastic stay - Very happy with the overall experience with a toddler. The house included all things and was equipped with directions which made navigating the house and area easy. Plenty to do locally with some incredible hiking near by. Hot tub was probably the nicest I have ever experienced at a rental. Having a little one, the gate on the stairs was a nice touch! Thank you Chris for being a great host! I can tell you take pride in your home and want the best experience for your guests. Scott

Would love to return!

This property is the perfect vacation rental. The owner literally thought of everything. The location couldn’t be any better. The most delicious pizza place is a 2 minute walk and the delicious South African restaurant played great music and had great food as well. We are so happy we stayed here and hope we can return again and stay in the same vacation rental, it was just that perfect. We loved coming home in the afternoons to the hot tub with the Mountain View. Drinking our coffee on the upstairs balcony was dreamy. The beds and linens were very soft. Kitchen was well equipped, even with spices. There was a great welcome basket with goodies. Just a lovely place and a great time.
