We absolutely love, love the treehouse, I made sure to take advantage of the hot tub, the fireplace outside and even the hammock.!! I wish I was rich so I could come back for New Year’s Eve. It’s what my Soul needed. Witnessed the most beautiful Sunrise in the hot tub. Everything about this casa is perfect. Wish it were MINE!

Great mountain retreat

We had an amazing stay! The cabin/treehouse was very well appointed with the things we needed to feel at home. The hot tub was fantastic especially after a couple days of skiing and hiking! We would highly recommend!!

Adorable home!

Loved how this apartment was designed and decorated! I’m short so I had to have my husband get dishes and glasses down for me. There is a stepladder but it’s easier to call him to the rescue. We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks which was only 30 minutes away. We did some great hiking in Blackhawk and drove to RMNP. If you’re planning to visit RMNP, it’s now timed entry so we had to leave the cabin at 6:30a to get to the park and through the line before 9. After that you need a timed entry pass. It was warmer than we were hoping and the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning. We’ve come across that before but it ended up being a little stuffy at times. Luckily there are three big sliders and fans to help. I cook almost every meal while on vacation and I wish there were more dishes. I travel with my must haves, but there weren't enough plates or knives so we washed dishes often. All in all the place was absolutely adorable and the decorations were perfect for the apartment. Bed was comfy, loved that there was a washer and dryer. Since it’s above a garage there are a lot of steps to get to the apartment. Other than lugging luggage and totes and grocery bags up it wasn’t an issue for us. We went into town and had some fun losing at the casinos. We had one little issue and it was resolved within an hour. Awesome communication from the host. Even though the main house is on the property we still felt like we had enough privacy.

Beautiful views and excellent stay

Our contact was so helpful and responsive. Before we arrived we had questions about the area and she gave us lots of helpful suggestions. The place was perfect for us and beautiful, the view and porch/hot tub was perfect. Put us in a great location to get to RMNP, Denver,and Colorado Springs easily.

Colorado Treehouse was Stellar!

What a spectacular property; well done! We stayed 5 nights and could not have asked for a better property for our Colorado vacation. The location was perfectly private while central to our points of interest, including St. Mary’s Glacier, Estes Park, Mt. Blue Sky, Golden, and Red Rocks. We spent every morning enjoying coffee on the beautiful deck with breathtaking Mountain View, evenings relaxing in the hot tub, and otherwise thoroughly loved and appreciated the comfortable, thoughtfully curated, and extremely tasteful accommodations and amenities. It’s only too bad we couldn’t just change our address and move in permanently. Love, love, love this little treehouse and will absolutely look to book again if we’re back in the area.

Quiet Getaway with Mountain Views!

We wanted a secluded quiet spot to enjoy mountain views and we got it! It was a nice spot to relax - very nicely decorated with everything we could possibly need. Also, centrally located to the various trails and mountains we wanted to get to - 1.5 hr to Rocky Mountain National Park, 45 mins to St Mary's Glacier and about that to Mount Blue Sky as well. Only 45 minutes into Golden, which is nice too.

Some noteworthy surprises/disappointments.

We were a little shocked when we arrived at the property by a few ways the pictures misrepresented the accommodations. 1.) There is a road right next to the hot tub, not sprawling and uninterrupted trees like the picture. It is a neighborhood road that doesn't have many cars traveling on it, but isn't very private. 2.) The hot tub is down stairs and not directly accessible from the upstairs mother-in-law's-like space. The pictures make it look like the hot tub will be right out the sliding door from the accommodation. 3.) The main house is right next to the accommodation, yet again it is not as private as the pictures make it look. It didn't seem like anyone was home, but we were surprised by the main house being right there! 4.) We expected robes, yet none were provided. Not deviations from the post, but things to note: 1.) There were dust bunnies under the furniture and even a few forgotten items from previous guests. It's a tiny place, so it was surprising that it wasn't very clean. 2.) There was very limited kitchen supplies. The 2 knives were dull and there were only 1 pot and 1 pan- not great for using the kitchenette. 3.) There were so many chemicals in the hot tub that it made my lady bits sting and itch. That has never happened before, and sucked! 4.) It's a drag to have to do our own laundry when leaving an accommodation. It makes sense to make it easier for the cleaners' timing but isn't classy. 5.) No good place to dine/ awkward tall table w/short chairs.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle

Cute place centrally located between a number of fun little towns. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable (note it is on the ground level and not on a balcony in case you care) I HIGHLY recommend the BBQ and craft beers at Busey Brews in Nederland, CO. The dry rub wings and brisket are amazing! Pretty view from the living area and balcony.

Get away

Top notch communication. Clean, quiet, beautiful location. We are picky about pillows and mattress… these were great! Secluded location with a nice hike up the road to BLM land. Looking forward to coming back!

Honeymoon

We booked this property for our honeymoon; the photos showed a pretty view and a hot tub, and they were accurate. However, the location of the hot tub was super irritating. There was no way to access it unless you went downstairs, outside, across the driveway, and to the other side of the house (which is problematic when it is COLD). We also had issues with the solar lights not working, so it was incredibly dark. The photos also made the property look more secluded, but it really wasn’t secluded at all. The shower was incredibly difficult to turn on/off because the handle was attached too tightly, making it hard to get the water to the temperature desired. We also tried to use the humidifier in the pantry, as CO is very dry. However, it was filled with old water and was absolutely disgusting, so we opted to just do without. The amount of windows made the house get quite hot in the daytime, so I definitely recommend staying in the cooler months. The proximity to Nederland was very nice, as it’s such a cute, unique little city. Do note that there are very few food options near the treehouse, so plan accordingly. This place is not remotely accessible. If you’re not comfy with stairs, this is NOT the place for you. I injured my knee on a hike while we were there, and navigating the stairs was a nightmare. The entire living area is on the second floor, so keep that in mind. The binder could use some updating, as some of the instructions were unclear/outdated.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay! The listing was exactly as described! The hot tub was simply amazing! The kitchen and outside grill allowed us to make all of our meals there. The property is quiet and private. All of the amenities were great and thoughtful. We enjoyed the views from the deck and our entire stay was just perfect! Communication with the management team was easy and we got quick responses back. If we ever travel to this area in the future, we would book this little piece of heaven again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful, clean, tucked away home

Overall I give 5 stars because the host was wonderfully helpful. My husband and I stayed with our 11 month old and they made sure to bring a playpen before we checked in! The house was clean, beautiful linens and furniture. Small upstairs apt over a garage type space but you got to see a view of the sunrise in the morning and it was beautiful! We did come in August and made the mistake of not fully understanding how hot it would be. With this home not having any AC we had to make sure we were gone from 2-7ish each day. Which wasn’t a big deal except that most things are quite a drive away. We would have liked to have been able to bring our baby back for a nap or stay in the apt all day it was just simply too hot (81 inside). But that was our fault for not knowing these would be the few days a year it actually needs AC. All in all if you are looking to get far away tucked back into the mountains, this is such a beautiful place!
